Yes, that they don't need to explain. But I would like the story to be slower, so you could understand how the mankind and animals got to "get along"

193869 Just finished volume one for the first time.

I really like the overall setup story, but I feel a lack of explaining of what went on. The time elapses to fast and I feel a lack of character development. Nevertheless, it still got me interested in the next volumes, it seems to hint that they are going to get more deep into how it all came to the point of the story, so I'm looking for that.

Really liked the overall look of the animals.
193869 I'm a bit late. I also há histórias book in the to read list. I agreed with the confusion in the plot in the beginning. But, I really liked the story line, a beautiful tale, about harsh subjects. I'm gonna definatly read the second volume, although I also don't feel that is foi grande to be has good. Probably going to feel like a spin off.

Was also surprised to find out that the writer work e on planet bitch also, very different.

I think the rhythm of how things occur is a bit the same, possibly by the adding of little random things while the story progresses that you just end up accepting naturally. The storis are also told in a light and weird funny way. Also, the artists of both use a lot of solid colors which I enjoy a lot. Brian must have an eye to partner with them.

Storywise, is pretty different I think and while I see young kids reading paper girls I don't think Saga is so much appropriate.

I tried to read Saga in single issues and had the same problem as you guys with paper girls. One issue doesn't seem to develop enough. And then each issue takes so much to come out...

193869 I wanted to read paper girls for quite some time, so thank you for finally making me do it. I am a big fan of Saga and therefore I pay attention when I see Brian K. Vaughan name.

I was very pleased with this volume, it made the story quite intriguing I definitely will keep reading the next volume. Loved the teenage characters and their little gang, the nerdy sci-fi concepts and the ?upsidedown? (it kinda remembers me of strange things, is it just me?).

I have read all the Fatale books recently, I really like this books. I believe that most of the questions that you have raised are answered in the next volumes. I also believe that the book is written in a way for the reader to ask exactly those questions, and to have some confusion regarding the male characters, so that the story focuses on the main character . That's why I though your review was so intersting.

Overall, I really enjoyed all the saga of Fatala, I did sense that in some point they didn't know were the story was ending... and that they tried to excessively devolop the female character through the eyes of the guys and something is lacking... but overall I love the noir, femmale fatale, terror combination. This was the first comic of the kind for me.

193869 Fatale, Vol. 1: Death Chases Me from Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips, because it's so different from anything have read so far. Its a femme fatale/mysticism/thriller/terror story. So many things different weird things that fit so well together.

193869 I've been reading X-Men: Onslaught, already in the 3rd volume. Really big saga. Took same time to get to the action but, I am enjoying it quite a lot
193869 It's the first book I read from WW, never caught my attention I guess. I enjoyed quite a lot, mostly because it shows a different narrative, less heroic I guess.

I do agreed with the critics of Jen, the spoiled part took a lot of time and with kate, it wouldn't be a good serialized series. But, has a OGN its very interesting, mostly because it can allow it self to be a bit more different.

I just have to point out the drawing of the book, it is mesmerizing, truly truly beautiful. The book is worth it alone by the drawings
