As in past year, anyone who finished the Reading Challenge in time gets to work together to pick the January BotM for the next year!

The rules for the picks are:
- Nominated titles must be single volume, OGN, or single issue (no omnibuses or multi-volume collections). We allow any kind of comic for nomination (e.g. Manga, American Comics, Franco-Belgian, etc.) as long as they are available in English.

- Only the first volume of a series may be nominated, unless the group has already read the previous volume(s) as a book of the month. To see what we've read, check out our group's bookshelf.

What would you like to read for January 2026? Let's aim to make a decision by December 31!

If a consensus isn't reached by December 31, the IRCB crew will choose from the recommendations in this thread.

Looking at the challenge page, it looks like Tom, Paul, Evilblacksheep, Jessica, Kyle, and Brandon completed the challenge! Way to go!!

This month, we're reading comics released in 2025! There are tons of great ones to choose from, and with Best of the Year lists starting to drop, there are lots of ideas out there!

I just can't believe it's already October! This year has really flown by. For this month, we'll be reading spooooky books for the Halloween season!

It's my birthday month, so you know what that means....everyone has to read unicorn comics!! Other magical creatures are cool too, I guess. :) Think fairies, mermaids, unicorns, dragons, etc.
