193869 It's my birthday month, so you know what that means....everyone has to read unicorn comics!! Other magical creatures are cool too, I guess. :) Think fairies, mermaids, unicorns, dragons, etc.

The episode for this month's BotM will be recorded September 21 so be sure to get your recommendations in before then if you'd like the crew to pick from your recommendations!

193869 For this month we'll be reliving the (not so?) glory days by reading comics published between 2000 and 2010!

I found a few lists compiled by a library of the best comics of the decade if you need some ideas. There are definitely some classics here! :)

I'm not familiar with the character so I looked her up, and yes, a comic featuring her would count! :)

193869 I seriously can't believe the year is already HALF OVER - apparently starting tomorrow (7/2) we will be closer to 2050 than the year 2000...does that freak anyone else out??

ANYWAYS - what are you reading this month? Anything new coming out you're excited for?

193869 For this month's Book of the Month, we'll be choosing from the 2025 list of Eisner nominees! We typically have a BotM for the winners, but there are so many wonderful nominees who don't end up getting the big prize that we wanted to highlight all of them this month!

You can check out the list here: https://www.comic-con.org/awards/eisn...

What did you end up reading? Are you rooting for it to win its category?
