With 2020 coming to a close, I was wondering if we want to give the group another try. I have been having a bit more time to read, since so much is now virtual. Any thoughts?

What book is next on our list?

My past year has been crazy. My sister in law had her cancer come back in the late spring. She passed away last week. I hope to have more time to devote.

Daniel is on a boat to Ellis Island. He can't wait to make a new start. There is a young woman named Lena on the boat. She stays with her brother, Yosef.

Thank you. My tablet/kindle died. I just got a new one. Time to start reading more.

Chapter 4 - They all went out to eat. Tess had too much alcohol. Henry took advantageof her when they got back to the house.

I am thinking he is a bit of a creep.

I am starting to wonder if Vincent is seeing someone too. Maybe that is why Tess marries Henry.

From this reading, I wonder what happened to Vincent. Also, what will Henry's family think, now that Lucy is dead.

This book has my attention so far.

The house that Emma and Jane look at has some interesting conditions. I wonder if either of them take it.

People gather around Madeline when they return to the school. The children come out and Amabella is hurt. She blames it on Ziggy.

It looks like there are two sides. Madeline's and Reanna's (sp). Madeline seems to be well liked by most of the others that we have met in the book so far. Chloe makes life easier for Ziggy.

Hi everyone. Work has calmed down a bit. I hope to have time to read more than just training manuals.

The predetermined costumes sound like an interesting addition to the plot. . I wonder if it was Madeline who was murdered.
