Fleur has definitely grown on me. → "I am good-looking enough for the both of us..."

One thing that drives me crazy is Snape's constant need to bring up Harry's father - even when it's not necessarily relevant.

Poor Hagrid. :(

Draco!

I kind of love the high level of sass Dumbledore gives him in regards to failing to kill him throughout the year.

Snape!

"Age is foolish, and forgetful when it underestimates youth..."

As blind as I think Dumbledore is when it comes to Snape and Draco, I can definitely appreciate him putting Harry in his place about the safety of Hogwarts.

Normally Harry is all about Quidditch, but it seems like this book it's almost the last thing on his mind.

I won't lie - this moment made me feel a bit bad for Malfoy - not enough to excuse him of his past transgressions, but he does seem a bit broken/overwhelmed.

Kind of random, but kind of adorable!

"It was very well done, thought Harry, the hesitancy, the casual tone, the careful flattery, none of it overdone. He, Harry, had had too much experience of trying to wheedle information out of reluctant people not to recognize a master at work." ← At least Harry kind of admits he manipulates.

I think this is one of my favorite chapters so far.

"But the more I hint I want to finish it, the tighter she holds on. It's like going out with the giant squid."

Harry does need to learn to focus on the task at hand - not get distracted by what he thinks is more important.

I wonder what Tonks was worried about - with Harry getting letters from the Order.

I wonder if he didn't tell anyone about why he fell off his broom because he didn't really remember or he's/they're so used to it? lol

I'm pretty shocked that Hermione hasn't been able to find anything in any book about Horcruxes.

This was definitely an interesting chapter - I really liked seeing Dumbledore kind of pass the task over to Harry - actually give him something to do in the quest of knowledge for Voldemort.

"I won't," said Ron, "let you see," he added under his breath...
He's getting sassy! lol

"... there's a very pretty girl working in the paper shop who thinks my card tricks are something marvelous... almost like real magic..." ← lol

"You're making Stan a scapegoat, just like you want to make me a mascot." ← I love Harry standing up to the ministry in this chapter.

I only got about half way before my ebook loan through the library had to be returned, but my hold finally came through again so I'll be getting back to this book this week!

This is definitely my favorite book of the series - although it is hard to chose. lol
