Very useful info Ria! Must have been awful realising how messed up he is. Yet, he never learns. He couldn't speak but somehow he managed to find his voice to accuse Harry and get him punished...Grrrrrr

Up until now I was sure Petunia wanted to see Harry dead.. Deep down I think she would have preferred it if he hadn't survived. And now, this change in her behavior??? Maybe she loved her sister after all..

I totally agree with you Alex... It's annoying.. But, I'm pretty positive I would act the same If I were a teenager... Yup, that's something I would definitely have done 15 years ago. LOL

Harry is always skinny in the first chapter of all the books so far... I hate that...

I don't like the way he talks to Dudley...He's practically mirroring Dudley's behavior.. Noooooo...This is not you Harry.

I haven't decided which is my favourite book in the whole series... I keep changing my mind. But so far, this is definitely THE BEST!!!!

I love how Hermione and Ron made Harry feel comfortable by avoiding talking about Cedric and discussing other stuff. True friends indeed...

I couldn't agree more with you ladies! I think Dumbledore phrases our thoughts using the right words: "You see the simplicity of it, and the brilliance." Pity Barty Jr joined the dark side! He could have been the next Dumbledore. His father was such a hypocrite. Pretending all these years, staging all these deaths.

Another question: It took Barty years to start resisting the imperius curse. How did Harry manage to do in a single lesson???? Okay it's obvious Harry is not just a random wizard but I don't think we have been given the impression that he is the best of the best. My first thoughts were that Moody-Barty went easy on him, but then he was able to resist Voldemort as well. I'm confused...

Wow I hadn't thought about that Brianna. (view spoiler)[You're right. He only enhanced his chances against Voldemort by teaching him to resist the curse. Well my only guess is that he was trying really hard to look and act like Moody. This way nobody would suspect him and he would have everything under control. Also I don't think he expected Harry would do so well resisting the curse. Another thought that's just occured to me-a bit far-fetched though: Maybe he trained Harry so as to make sure he escaped Voldemort and give him the chance to carry out the task, aka kill Harry and be Voldemort's personal hero, his favourite Death Eater as he mentions in one of these chapters(I don't remember exactly where). Barty Jr is not really in his right mind, so it wouldn't come as a surprise if he did it for this reason. (hide spoiler)]

This chapter made me cry a little bit.

Voldemort you are a peculiar dude... Your Death Eaters have come and your way of thanking them is giving them the cruciatus curse...

The Dementors are their natural allies???? And how come do they work for the ministry right now? Why did they not help all the prisoners escape Azkaban and help Voldemort rise sooner?

Great chapter btw. I love the way Rowling answers burning questions through the Dark Lord's perspective.

Since I am not a native English speaker would it be accurate to say at this point that "sh*t really hit the fan"????

Did anyone bother guessing?? I paused for a couple of minutes trying to guess, since I didn't remember this one and I thought the answer was "dementor". Obviously it didn't fit perfectly.. Did anyone guess right?

I agree Brianna! I'm glad he didn't tell them and I am also glad he realises that what happened to Neville's parent's is much worse than his own parents. At least the Potters have found peace.

The chapters where Harry looks into the pensieve are always my favourite.

Oh I felt so sad while reading this... It's a pity when kids feel like this. They are not supposed to think about money. To some extent, it's inevitable, especially when you compare your clothes, for instance, to others' clothes. Still, it's sad.

Professor Trelawney...Is she gifted or not??? I don't particularly like her and I think she knows nothing (Just like Jon Snow) but some of the things she has predicted came true. An accident or not? Seriously does anyone remember if she could actually look into the future? Dumbledore isn't a fool, he can't be keeping her for no reason.

I don't like Ludo Bagman...Whether he is up to something or not I don't like him at all..
