Erin nodded. " Yes, I think it is." She squeezed his hand. " Goodnight Ben Taylor." She said softly as she closed her eyes.
Erin smiled. " That didn't stop you last time. " She coughed and it tore threw her chest and throat. She laid back down and breathed slowly. " But, keep your space. I don't want you getting sick too."
Amilia sighed and stood up. " Well, I got to get back to work and then run to town for some supplies." She picked up her plate and felt Seamus touch her shoulder. She stood up straight and looked up at him. " Yes?"
Erin nodded and took his hand in hers, trying to comfort him. Tears started to roll down her own cheeks. " Yes, I will marry you, Ben." She wiped away his tears and let her hand linger on his cheeks. " Are you sure, Ben? I am more complicated then I look."
Erin closed her eyes and sighed. " Ben, I hope you know what you're getting yourself into." She said with a small smile.
Amilia smiled and took her hands off her face. " It actually made a lot of since. You're wiser than you know."
Erin touched his hand. " But that doesn't mean that I won't marry you." She said waiting for him to look at her.
Erin looked at him and then closed her eyes. " But, I'm not only yours. God has my heart too, Ben." She said softly opening her eyes again.
Erin looked up at him more shocked then she has ever been before. She swallowed and looked up at him. " Ben....I....I don't know what to say. Even if we do marry it doesn't guarantee that you won't lose me."
Amilia sighed. " I wish she could just see how much she has helped him." She mumbled as she covered her face with her hands.
Suzanne needed to get her mind busy so she wouldn't think about Andrew. Where was he? Is he safe? Is he hurt? She groaned and walked outside picking flowers to freshen up the place. " God," she prayed, " please look over those men and those they are there to help. Keep them safe from harm and send them home as fast as you can."
" Then keep trying. You're the most stubborn person I've met besides myself and your brother." She smiled and elbowed him playfully. " So, why quit being stubborn now?"
Erin smiled. " Me too." She heard rhe doctor say something about quarantine and she felt herself groan. Now she was going to be an even bigger burden for these people. She watched as the doctor left and then looked over at Ben. She wiped his tears away and smiled. " What are those tears for? In dying. Well...at least, I don't think so."
Amilia sighed. " It's not that easy when you've been hurt, Gwen. He's build up a wall that no one can climb. The only reason is because we don't have the right tools to do so." Amilia smiled. " But, I know God equipped you with the right tools to climb his wall and help him."
Amilia looked up at her. " It's hard for him to even look at you Gwen. If you understood what he has been through, then you wouldn't be so harsh about his behavior."
Amilia smiled and nodded. " I'll try not to spread it." She saw Amilia come up marching so hard she was scared that she ground would shake. She heard her comment and smiled. " Did you take my advice? We're you patient?"
Erin wanted to comfort Ben but knew she couldn't really of anything to help. She reached out and touched his head. " I'm in God's hands. Don't ever forget that." She said softly.
Cameron got herself together and finished cleaning off the table. " Would you like anything else before I go back to work, sir?" Joseph came to her side and touched her shoulder gently. " It's okay, I'm right here. I won't let then hurt you. Come on, just touch his nose." He took her hand in his and walked a little closer to the animal.
