Kyla’s comments from the Time group.

Clara just nodded, shocked by the news, "okay," she said, "this will be an adventure"

"I'm all in then," Clara said, satisfied. "So," she asked, "What is is exactly that we're doing here?"

Clara though about it again before responding, " I never said I wouldn't do it, it would just be nice to get, you know, like my finished college degree out of the mix or something."

Clara regarded the man for a minute, looking him up and down, "You see, though, I've never been the most patriotic person"

"What do I get out of this?" Clara asked immediately.

Clara didn't know what they were talking about, "All I know is I got a piece of paper telling me to come here today"

Carla had no idea what she was talking about, but she had been so busy over the last couple of years that it would make sense if she had missed some current event, "what thing?" she asked

"Clara Hijaki," Clara reached out to shake her hand, "This place gives me the creeps it's so clean."

Carla laughed, "I'm a mechanic. Where I work everything is covered in grease and break dust."

Carla walked up to the building. She had wanted to dress up, but she had been specifically insturdcted not to. Now she was glad she hadn't. The feel of her worn clothes and the comfortable weight of her backpack made her feel more comfortable. She had no idea who she was actually meeting, only that they were important. Taking a deep breath she walked into the building and imedietly a man walked up to her. "Follow me," was all she said. He lead her through the halls and left her in a bare room with only a few couches and a table with two other people.

AFTER THE SURVEY

The man nodded, "We have to keep our minds open though, great talent can come from unusual places. I myself used to work as a bartender in Manhattan."

Another man who had been sitting back and listening now chimed in, his voice rough but sure, "This could work," he said, "but what will we look for in these 'applicants'?"

Profession: Engineer/Mechanic
Appearance: Carla is average height. She has blue gray eyes and thick, auburn hair. She has a soft face, with kind looking eyes and a small nose. she has freckles spotting over her nose. She isn't the thinnest, but she is well muscled and strong from working as a mechanic. She usually wear a dirty pair of overalls that she wear to work (she's always at work). When she's not working or going to or from work, she wears jeans, a tshirt, a worn leather jacket, and a ratty pair of sneakers. She always has her bright red backpack with her as well.
Personality: Carla loves to tinker with things. Her favorite things to do is figure out how things work and what she can do with them. No matter where she goes she carries around her notebook, and is always scribbling things in it that she thinks of. She also always carries her computer and a couple of paper books (despite the fact that they're out of style). She has a level head and is good in a tight spot, but she's not quick to forgive and can hold a grudge.
Strengths: Figuring things out, engineering, speaks 5 languages, good under pressure, strong
Weaknesses: holds grudges, gets hurt a lot (not good at self preservation)
Other: Carla moved around a lot with her parents when she was younger, that's why she speaks so many languages. She loved her parents. She started going to college for engineering, but when she was 19 her parents died and left her nothing. She continued to go to school (after taking a month off), but quickly found that she couldn't keep up with payments. She now works as a mechanic and goes to school to become and engineer part time.
