201508 Sprints for today: 1pm, 3:30pm, and 5pm PST :D

For the rest of the week, I'm thinking of doing a lunchtime sprint. I'll likely go for around 11am PST so that way it's still around lunchtime at least in other US timezones. :P

201508 First sprint is over! I read 15 pages of Clea Simon's The Ninth Life.

201508 Hey all!

I thought it'd be fun to do some reading sprints! It's a bit last minute, but I'm going to do some today for anyone interested (first starting in a few minutes!). I'll do a few today, maybe a couple tomorrow, and then more next weekend if that sounds like fun. :)

Keep an eye on the Twitters! :D
Happy reading!

201508 That's so awesome! I'll have to add the Italian Secretary to my list. And I *love* that story from Silver Blaze's perspective!! <3

201508 I'll be posting a TBR either tonight or tomorrow hopefully! It'd be neat to see everyone else's. ^___^ Maybe I'll start a TBR thread on here!

Yay! This sounds like an excellent choice :3 I've been collecting the paperback UK covers for the series, and I have the latest one pre-ordered. And guess when it's supposed to come out? January! I probably shouldn't reread it since I have a pile of other things picked out already, but I'm pretty excited about the timing haha :)

201508 Let's compile a list of suggested reading!

Of course, we can start off with the originals by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

I also highly recommend the Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes series by Laurie R King, which starts with The Beekeeper's Apprentice: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/9...

A few others that are on my list to read or that I've read before are..

A Study in Lavender: Queering Sherlock Holmes... https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/9...
A Study in Sherlock... https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
In the Company of Sherlock Holmes... https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Echoes of Sherlock Holmes... https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
The Enola Holmes series... https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...
The House of Silk... https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

One of my favorite fan fictions is in the BBC Sherlock fandom and by rageprufrock called "The Least of All Possibilities" http://archiveofourown.org/works/330685

What are your favorites? Any you are hoping to pick up for January? :)
