My boggart would probably be the edge of a cliff. Or I'd find myself on top ..."
Yeah I would have liked to see Hermione face the boggart!
I wonder how the boggart would take shapes like that. What if you have an even more abstract fear, like failure? Lucky all the kids had something physical they were afraid of..
Yes, and he attacked the Fat Lady.. she's such a constant factor it's scary to see her so shaken up.
Haha, same about the boggart. Even if mine would be a dementor I'd rather face the boggart because at least it's weaker.
That would be so awesome, I'd just use the Marauder's Map to find empty bathrooms so I don't have to wait in line xD
How are you liking Nevernight? We're halfway through now and it's time for the second discussion. These are the questions we prepared - but feel free to ask your own:1. What do you think of the Quiet Mountain and the Shahiids' lessons?
2. How do you like the other acolytes? Do you think any of them can be trusted?
3. What do you think of Lord Cassius?
4. What do you think of the sorcerii and their blood and flesh magic?
5. What was your favourite moment in this part?
Take care not to spoil anything if you've read ahead! This discussion will also be posted on our blog and instagram.

2. What do you think your boggart would be?
3. Did Sirius Black's break-in to Hogwarts scare you?
4. What would you rather face, a dementor or a boggart?
5. What would you use the Marauders Map for if you could have one of your home/school etc?

Flourish and Blotts would definitely be my choice too!
I loved how Harry and Ron connected on the train. And I love Hermione even when she's a know-it-all :)
I agree, Harry is definitely a Gryffindor. But it would have been interesting to see him in Slytherin!
Whenever I haven't read the books in a while I forget how odd Dumbledore is! It's amazing. McGonagall is my favourite too. We also saw another side of her when she made Harry Seeker! That was indeed a great moment.

It's the end of the first week of November, which means it's time for our first discussion! This week we read the first four chapters of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. If you've read the book before or you've read ahead, please don't mention any spoilers for the next chapters or the next books in the series! We've come up with some questions to help the discussion along:
1. Have you read the book before?
2. Are you hooked on the story yet? When did it happen, and if it didn't, how come?
3. What did you think of the characters? (The Dursleys, Hagrid and of course our hero Harry.)
4. What was your favourite moment in these chapters?
You're welcome to ask your own questions too, of course! We'll be posting this discussion post on our blog as well. You can join in this discussion, the one on our blog, or both. Have fun!
