Hi all! I commented last week on the blog post for this - but I thought it'd be cool to discuss on Goodreads chapters 5-9 (now I finally caught up!)

1. Which Diagon Alley shop would you love to roam?
Flourish and Blotts of course! Being a booklover - was I ever going to say anything else?
2. What did you think of the way Harry, Ron and Hermione met?
I really enjoyed how J.K Rowling introduces all the students on the train. It was really amusing how Harry buys all the treats and they share them with Ron. Hermione come across as a little bit of a 'know-it-all' in these first scenes - which is great because it reflects her character perfectly.

3. Do you think Harry should've been sorted in Gryffindor indeed? And why (not)?
Yes! How could a kid who has had such an upbringing not be brave and courageous? He has more Gryffindor traits than any other trait.
4. What did you think of the teachers we've met so far? (Dumbledore, McGonagall and Snape, for example).
I LOVE Dumbledore and how odd - but brilliant he is. I also like how Snape is presented - it's brilliant. He's such as ass. McGonagall is probably my favourite though - she's come across as strict but really I think she is a warm - compassionate teacher. (We saw a little bit of this in the first chapter!)
5. What was your favourite moment in these chapters?
This one was really hard to choose! My favourite moment was when Harry got selected for the Qudditch team though I think - it's such a win for him.
