I recommend Truth in the dark by Amy Lane. I really love that story.

I'm reading this book now as my first Cinderella retelling. I'm really liking it so far.

It's a really great retelling of the fairy tale, especially because the story is really close to the message of the original fairy tale. So if no one in the group is opposed to reading about two men falling in love, I highly recommend this book.
