202262 Tell us what about the books you've been reading. What did you read last? What are you reading now, if any? What do you want to read next?

202262 This group is the online branch of EPL Reads, a literary community at Emmaus Public Library. We'd love for you to submit book reviews in order to help other library goers find their next good book. You can submit reviews either in person at the library or here on GoodReads.
Here are instructions on how to add reviews to our group bookshelf:

202262 What are the books that move you? You know, the books that are unforgettable, that make you cry, that make your jaw drop with awe. That feeling that you'd be instant best friends with the author if you ever met them in person.
What are those books? What was it about them that blew you away?

202262 Hello there! This is Lauri, EPL's Adult Services Librarian. I'm curious about how ebooks fit into the overall picture of your reading habits. Ebooks play a complex role in my own reading habits.
How do you decide what you want to read in ebook form versus print?
Do you use Overdrive for ebooks?
Do particular authors or genres appeal more in ebook form?
Do convenience and expediency play a part?
If you like an ebook enough, do you buy it for your own book shelves?

202262 These days we have tons of entertainment platforms with cable, satellite, Netflix, Hulu, among others. That means that there are multitudes of movie and TV series that are based on books. Just off the top of my head there are:
The Goldfinch (Tartt)
Pet Sematary (King)
Big Little Lies on HBO (Moriarity)
Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch on Amazon Prime (Pratchett & Gaiman)

So, what are your favorite book adaptions? What makes or breaks it in your opinion?
