I keep looking at Karen Aminadra's books (I even own two of them) and pushing them aside for something more attractive. Don't know if I'm missing out on something or not. Based on only 3 stars from you, Victoria, I'm guessing not! Happy New Year!

Well done, Kirk! I think we'll all find a new great place to gather in 2018. See you there!

Jeez, Sara! What an accomplishment! Congratulations, and Happy New Year!
Okay. This is it for me for 2017. I want to add to these reviews (haven't done one at all for #277 yet), but I've got to start getting ready for a New Year's Eve gig now. HAPPY NEW YEAR everybody!!276. From Admiration to Love: The Darcys' Second Christmas: A Pride and Prejudice sequel - 5 stars

E marries W. D continues to protect her as much as he can. At least this one has a HEA.

D & E separated for 5 years once D first learns of L's elopement. Each pines for the other.

This'll rip your guts out. E marries Mr. C, and there's some domestic abuse tastefully indicated but not described. Thankfully, there's a HEA. Lady C and A are actually kind here.

Modern, short and very sweet. #281 seems incomplete without the addition of #282, so I would rate it much lower without reading the second. Both are quite short.

Unlikely villains conspire against D and the Matlock heir.

Yeah, I spotted and snagged that one earlier today but wasn't in GR to alert everyone at the time. Does look cute.
Well, if you invert either of the two age numbers, you JUST made it, Sheila! Might have to check that one out myself...
SO jealous! Sounds like you're having a wonderful trip. Enjoy! Nice that you got 3 more books in, and they're all good ones. Excellent! Happy New Year!

Glad you liked this one, Sheila!
Lenora- gotta ask: Unwilling Mistress of Longbourn?... 19 pages? I do believe very short stories can be excellent, but 19 pages seems super short for 5 stars. Mind giving us some more info about this? And how would you rate your #266?
Meanwhile, congrats on reading so many books this year!!
I'm not big on following W.I.P.s, but I would like to read this one when it's complete. Please keep us posted!
Got it! Thanks, Ahnya! I snagged a couple of others from that list once I looked it it more closely. (Not JAFF or Austenesque)
Sorry I can't help you with that, Rose. Have you tried searching for it at AHA using the author's name?
I went through that exercise last night, Anji. I knew the "user" to get into the library on that site was/is JaneAusten, but I had an old passcode. No longer Love2Read. Now it's Gr8tNovel$.
Okay. Click on "Edit" for each book. Underneath where you would write or edit your review, there will be two (or even more!) lines with Start and Finish Reading dates. Look all the way at the right, and you'll see where you can click on an "X" to delete any of them. Then go to the bottom left and "Save." I've figured out that when you add your "Finished" date, GR automatically changes the status to "Read." If you go and ALSO manually change your status at the same time, GR seems to label it as a second read-thru. That's how multiple readings get listed when you only intended to put it down for the one time.
I just downloaded all three, as well as some other unpublished I've been eyeing. Going to have to start with Letters from the Heart!!
Susan!! Greetings, salutations, and felicitations!! The more the merrier in Mr. Darcy's Library, and we're glad you're here! 600 books total including 200+ JAFF for the year is amazing and deserves some celebrating! 🎈🎉🎊🍷
