50x66 That beautiful cover is the amazing work of Debbie Taylor, who took my information about characteristics and traits of the hero and heroine and created the perfect fit. One of the bits of information I gave her was that the story was about sensuality. She really got that and put it into the cover design. I was very pleased. All of the covers for my Wild Rose Press books have been beautiful. I've never had to request changes. Thanks!

50x66 The hero in the first book I got published, The Prize, was Stellan and he's probably still my favorite, although I have soft spots for all of them. He was based on a character from the TV show Lost, but his name came from one of my favorite actors, Stellan Skaarsgard.

50x66 I land somewhere in between. I start as a pantser, getting scene after scene until I feel I have enough to flesh out a plot. My outlines are my own design, though, and likely would drive a true outliner crazy.

50x66 Sometimes. More often I use a character from a TV show or movie as a sort of visual and then flesh them out my way. Or I blend people.

50x66 I started writing as a playwright and that has sort of defined how I work. I begin with scenes. When I feel like I have enough individual scenes to begin fleshing things out, then I attempt my version of an outline. It wouldn't pass an English teacher's gradebook, but it works for me.

Oddly enough, I usually get the title first then the story starts to flow. I've had to change a title once, though, because there was another book with that title. It was hard to come up with a replacement.
