I have read Poison Study and really enjoyed it - good choice!
For the March theme I will be reading Georgiana: Duchess of Devonshire by Amanda Foreman. I enjoyed the Keira Knightly film The Duchess and I love the name Georgiana, so this book seemed like a good fit for me!
@ TabithaI've wanted to read His Dark Materials for years, so it being on the theme list was the perfect excuse to finally do it! So many books so little time.
I heard about the new sequel the other day and couldn't believe my fortunate timing! I also read that the BBC is filming a tv adaption of the series, so I need to make sure that I read the other two books before that airs.

I have just completed The Golden Compass for the February theme. My UK edition was called Northern Lights.Although I chose this from the list of suggested books for this theme, it was not really what I would call an exact fit. However, the central character Lyra does many brave and heroic things, so I guess it is close enough!
I have wanted to read this for quite sometime and I was not disappointed. Pullman's world building is excellent and I was very quickly invested in Lyra's journey.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys steampunk and fantasy. I will be adding the other two books in this series to my to-read list.
I will also be joining in and reading this. Looking forward to it!
I'm undecided between The Seance or Sorcery & Cecelia: or The Enchanted Chocolate Pot. Decisions, decisions!
