The setting of the story is unique because the time it take place in the future September 19, 2170. The way they started of tells us its in the future cause she starts the story in virtual reality an example, "i lean back in my chair and open my virtual program with the usual."(Mckissacks 1) Now a days our virtual reality is still in development there for this advance technology to us.
