50x66 What Are the Natural Laws of Good Luck? What do you think? My sister-in-law thinks that when something bad happens, that's a good sign. It means things will turn around and get better from there. Wisdom traditions such as Ifa of the Yoruba people, quite similar to IChing would say that it is easier to turn around a bad situation than to maintain a good one. That is probably a psychological law!

I was listening to Les Paul, the famous guitar innovator today on the radio. He told about a series of terrible accidents that affected his ability to play music. He was struck in the ears, first one then the other on different occasions by different people and lost hearing. He was in a serious car accident and lost some fingers. He said all these handicaps opened new worlds to him and ended up having great advantages even though he didn't think so at the time.

Geothe said "Those whom luck favors(FOR WHOM LUCK FORMS A BEAUTIFUL PALM) will work with joy and enjoy what is created.

I'D LIKE TO KNOW WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK ABOUT LUCK. ELLEN

50x66 I don't know if Zhong-hua is more Americanized when it comes to road kill. He still thinks it a terrible waste that people throw away deer meat instead of eating it. But one has to be in the right place at the right time--right behind a careless or hapless motorist who has just struck a deer--in order to safely prepare and eat road kill. My husband is more likely to be seen late at night at Save-A-Lot, Price Chopper, Hannaford, or the Chinese grocery.
any more questions, Eden? Ellen Graf
