@Ashlee thank you. I finally just saw your comment. But it means a lot. :)
not too much has changed in the last month. But I do have a wedding to go to this weekend and attended another one a few weeks ago along with celebrating my bday and my husband's earlier this month. so it's been a pretty busy June.
I did just start a new book the other day it's been good so far.

I haven't had a chance to read this book. But I also suffer from the same gad and also severe depression. So I totally understand. And I have gotten anxiety from reading before but I am still able to absorb into the book it's not my anxiety I feel it's the characters anxiety I feel but I think that helps me get into the characters mind better. And yes sometimes it makes my regular anxiety excel. everyone is different tho. if it's a book you feel you should read then try one more chapter if it's too much then try a book you can enjoy fully. But if it doesn't seem worth finishing then that's okay too. I say to all my friends all we can do is try.
some books that give me anxiety and it's a little hard to get through I end up taking a bit longer to read but when I'm done with it I feel great. the anxiety lifts I feel proud and I just love that feeling.
But like I said we're all different and what works for me may not for you. But I find knowing people that know what I go thru helps. So maybe this book can do the same. But as I haven't read it I couldn't be sure.
just thought I'd input to reassure you that it's normal to have these responses to a book. And even with these reactions you may still be able to enjoy it like I have other books just may take awhile to push thru the hard parts.

she's probably my fave comedic actress

well what's going on with me is that I have anxiety and depression. which I stress over (among other things) and that's why I picked up reading again a few months ago. it was just becoming unbearable. i also started listening to music again to help as well. and the reading and music combo have been helping. plus I read singing helps as well which is great because I love singing. So now I'm starting to have some good days. before it was just nothing but bad days. So I'm really grateful for books and music right now. I still have bad days. But it's only been a few months and time will only help me further my good days. Now I gotta take that next step soon and start losing weight and exercising you even further help my progress. that, for me, is the biggest step to cross but I'll get there.

hey Patricia! it's not a spell but biotin naturally helps build stronger hair and grows faster. though good old fashioned time is usually what does it. But I've been there. done that. I cut my own hair for years. I've had my fair share of bad hair cuts. So I feel ya.

Oh yes love me a good movie. I like all types of movies. But tomorrow I'm going to go see life of the party (love me a Melissa McCarthy movie) with my husband and last week we went and saw super troopers 2. the one genre we can agree on is comedy so we see watch a lot of those.

besides reading. I like listening to music. watching old vine video and funny falls on you tube. i like Rom com movies and drama shows. and I like having the occasional shopping trip and going to wineries and breweries.

Harry potter and the prisoner of Azkaban
favorite beverage?

My fave genre would be young adult or romance. it's hard to choose just one. and my favorite book. that's a tough one. I've read so many great ones. I'll have to think about it. But for now I think I'll have to say I really enjoyed wallbanger. it just stood out for me.

I'm currently reading the Wednesday group. it's a bit out of my norm. I usually go for young adult or romance. I'll even sneak in a mystery or thriller. I really like when there's a mix of everything I like. But I am finding this book to be interesting, even tho it's out of my norm. I'm about 1/3 thru it so far.

I'm excited to be apart of the group.

hello I'm Samantha. I used to read a lot in high school as a stress reliever and to escape reality. But then life happened I stopped reading for a few years but about a few months ago decided to pick it up again to help relieve my anxiety n depression n some stress. it's been helping a little so far. I'm currently reading the Wednesday group which is a bit different the I normally read but interesting so far n it's my 12th book in about 2 months. My personal goal this year is 24 but I'm thinking I'll need to aim higher at this rate. I'm excited to each every personal goal I have towards reading.
