I totally agree! It really was so deep. I liked it. I liked how she kept repeating it and changing it a bit.

- I KNOWWWWWWW. Later she was going for that cloak, and I'm like, girl, you couldn't have done that before?

- YES. He's like the complete opposite of Gaston. I heard this was based off the original fairytale more than the Disney one and the others, so I wonder how Gaston was in that one?

- Huh. You make a really good point. We really didn't hate a single person in that book. XD I never thought about that. But you're right - maybe it was a statement about the hate in the world and how we shouldn't hate anyone?

- YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Omg, yes. I kept comparing them to Nesta and Elain, and I'm like, wow, this is true sistership. I mean, I love Nesta, but they weren't very good to each other. But yessssssss. It showed the goodness of love. I'm not sure I could do it and not resent her, and Asenka did it with such an open heart. So agreed.

I have not heard of Ivan's story before. I've heard of Vasilia's story before, Ivan was new. I believe it is Russian folklore, but I'mma have to check.

- OMIGOSH, I KNOW. I was sitting there going, um, um, really, there could be something else. NOT THE BEAUTIFUL BOOK OF FAIRYTALES. THEY ARE SO MUCH LOVE.

- AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I knowwwwwwwwww. While I love the Beast, I was kind of rooting for Solmir at one point? XD I really missed the epic Gaston song, though. And him just talking about his beautiful self. But I loved how Solmir was such a sweet little flower. FINALLY A MAN THAT IS KIND AND RESPECTS CHOICES.

- I do agree. I thought it was a smart ending. I think it was more about the journey of the two characters and not so much the romance, so I was glad she kind of talked about what they could do and how they were focused on the moment.

- CAN WE ALSO TALK ABOUT THE SISTERLY LOVE? Omg, I loved it so dearly. SO much greatness.

Just a reminder that tomorrow/today (not sure how things are working with the time zones XD) starts our wondrous buddy read! SO SO excited for this. *forever hoping this will be super, super amazing*

Ooooh, interesting workshop! Love the choices you come up with - I'm over them as well. XD

Here's a few of mine:
- In order to seem "fierce" and "warrior-like" girls have to hate dresses and things that people deem "girly" - can't people just like what they like? Why labels? D: Used to see this so much in the fantasy novels.
- The pretty, rich, mean girl cheerleader that is EVILLLLLLLLLLLLL (of course, usually a fake blonde).
- Love triangles XD

Those are a few that are bugging me right now. XD

Hey everyone!

If you're interested we'll be reading Hunted by Meagan Spooner, starting Sunday, July 23rd. So far, it's Nadwa, Balie, and me, but please feel free to join in. I've heard so many great things about this, and I'm super excited!!

The read should last about a week or so (unless we go down the Beauty and the Beast spiral and finish it in a day XD), and I don't believe we'll have any checkpoints unless we are freaking out about something too hard and just have to share! Definitely a discussion afterward, though!

Ahahahahaha im pretty sure that was my reaction. That is brilliant, Nadwa 😂😂 but yes, fore sure! I'm excited to see what we come up with. 😄😄 I'm trying to wait a quick second before I start Cinder because I know the moment I pick it up, I'm going to devour it in one sitting.

Ladiesssssssssssssss. Apparently, while I love it dearly, my library is a bit evil. I had the book practically on order, but then I saw my library had it and I'm like, Mandy, the book buying ban needs to stay in effect since you're not having piles in your room again (YOU MUST BE ORGANIZED). Anyway, I decided to get it from my library. They told me my hold would be ready this week, but apparently, someone was looking for this book as well in the library and the library pulled it for them since they were in library and...my hold is gone. XD So now there is a major backup and I have to wait for the other person to return it or another library to transfer. XD So, I believe I am out for the buddy read, ladies! I can't wait to see what you ladies think of it, and if somehow by some miracle the library gets it in or I can order it in time, I'll join in. But enjoy, and I'll fangirl with you along the way (and by the end of the month when I hopefully have it in my hands)!
