What's on your to-be-read list for the summer? I want to read Crossover by Kwame Alexander The Crossover and Disrupting Thinking: Why How We Read Matters.

I am looking for really good picture books. This year, we read Grand Canyon by Jason Chin and it was wonderful -- art was amazing and the science was spot on. Also, FES librarian Robin Hendrickson read and I know my kids loved it. (Again, it had great science in it.)
What have you seen that is especially interesting to kids?
