Hi Scarlette, I read the book and liked it; but did not want to see the movie (because at times I find a movie does not match with the pictures and feelings I had when I read the book) I am curious how you feel about the book!
Before I will read "Lost in Translation" I read the book "The Friday Night Knitting Club". My reasons why are choose the books are: I loved the title of the book; I was part of a knitting club before my friends and I got to busy; I love to knit. I have finished the book already, I liked the book, it did not really have one main character, if it were a film it would be an ensemble cast - the book followed the life of some of the women of the knitting club, their stories how they are living in NYC. While reading the book a friend of mine gave me bags of yarn and needles she does not want anymore, inspired by her gift and the book I started a scarf.
Now I will go back to Lost in Translation!
I will be starting to read "Lost in Translation" a memoir of Eva Hoffman who came from Cracov, Poland to live in Vancouver, Canada as a teenager in the year 1959. Will tell more about the book soon1
