This quote mean people start to see better or think better when they are in the darkness. Two books that can support this quote are The Narrative of Frederick Douglass, and the Scarlett Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne. Both of these books explain how people solve their problems during the dark times.

In the book, Narrative of Frederick Douglass, the slaves try to escape slavery even though they didn't have education. The dark times gave them the courage to escape. Consequently, they became free.

In the book Scarlett Letter Hester Pryne comited adultery witch was a very script sin, consequently she was punished,owever she she became a better woman and helped her dauther.With all critisism against her and people calling her a witch, she still try hard to make a living and understanding that she cn still chmange. In conclusion I truly believe that people always do better during the darkness.

das actially a great book that i also enjoy reading, and also if you keep on readin g it you will find many parts that connects with your life.

Ishmael need peace and somebody in his life that will lead him to change his mind. He want to kill people because that was the only thing he could do so he won get kill.Even though he waz killing people at the moment he needed freedom. Ishmael also wanted forgiveness for his bad deeds or sins.

The book that i chose is A Long Way gone, by Ishmael Beah. I chose this book because im interested on learning about the War in Sierra Leone and the life of a boy soldier.
