"Haaaaaaa..." Audrey started."-Ppy biiiirthday tooo yooou!" the brothers joined in, and they continued the song.
"Nat," Nathan grumbled. "She called me Nat. Carie calls me Nat... Freakin'...""Aw, shut your flilthy whore lips," Carylie giggled to Nathan, who had caught up with them. Jamie tugged the group along. "So, Sakura. How old are you?"
Carylie smirked and stood between Jamie and Sakura. Jamie hooked his fingers between hers without looking at her. If he had, he would've seen her smirking. Nathan rolled his eyes and led them out of the cafe, dropping his money on the table to pay for their uneaten food.
"You're not coming?" Carylie said, grinning? She liked this new Sakura."Wait I didn't say tha-"
"Shut up, Jamie. She's coming." Carylie nodded at Sakura. "C'mon."
Nathan and Jamie gaped at each other. "Caaaa-ruuh-leee!" Nathan sang. "C'mon. You wouldn't replace as, woudja?" He kissed Carylie on the cheek."Stop!" she hissed, smacking him across the face. "Jesus, what's wrong with you today?"
Nathan frowned deeply. Carylie was his and his brother's best friend. Without her, they had only each other. And if they didn't have each other, then what? "Sorry..." he muttered.
Carylie shrugged. "Just chill."
Jamie, tired of the awkward situations, piped up. "So we should go do something fun!"
((5! That five is high.))Jamie nodded at Sakura and tended to the whimpering Nathan.
Carylie didn't even try to sustain her giggles. "Pansies," she laughed, high fiving Sakura.
((She honestly does seem very, very weeaboo. Lol.))"Oi!" Jamie held out a hand to stop Sakura, much too late. "That's my brother, much as I'm ashamed to say so. Don't hit him. You're not Carie."
Carylie grimaced. "My name isn't Carie," she sighed. "And I have a basic understand on Japanese culture. My family lived there for a year." Carylie's family moved around a lot. She was born in Maryland, but thoughout her life, she'd lived on every continent at some point. She was glad to be back in America. She was sensitive about her intelligence and would not have someone questioning it.
"But I think we'd rather keep casualties to a maximum," Carylie added with a nod.
Carylie frowned deeply. "We're in America, love," Nathan cackled. "Can you HEAR her?" He gasped between guffaws.
"Shut up," Jamie scoffed. "As if it didn't take you three years to figure that out. Seriously."
Carylie smiled weakly, agreeing with Nathan just a tiny bit. "If it's okay, we'd rather be less formal about things." She knew that was what Nathan meant. He was just too much of a jerk to do so.
"No, don-""When we found out we were moving here, Nathan was so upset that he collected haggis from everywhere he could find them, freeze-dried them, and keeps them in the deep freezer now," Jamie interrupted with a triumphant nod.
"Weeaboo!" coughed Nathan.Jamie punched his brother in the ribs. "Shut your lips before I start talking about your haggis collection."
"That's the only kind there is," Nathan said passively. "And you could still be a weeaboo. I mean, do you own any giant swords or something for no reason?""Oi, quit intimidating her. D'ya want her to call us gingers? We're Scottish, after all," Jamie sighed to Nathan.
"Well," Nathan mused, "there are two kinds of emos. There are whiney, annoying people who just moan about how life sucks, and they're the stereotypical emos. The label means people who self-harm for attention. Either way, they're not 'emotionally hurt' or whatever they claim to be. Then we have weeaboos, who worship Japanese culture even though they're American. But when you label people, weeaboo doesn't come to mind, which it why it's a stereotype and not a label. Comprende?"
"Pfft, preps," Nathan scoffed, waving a hand through the air. He scooted over to make room for Sakura."We don't believe in labels," Jamie chimed in.
"Soup can rule," concurred Carylie. "'Cept weeaboos. They're a stereotype, though, not a label. Ya gotta know the difference."
Oakleigh stood about, clutching her books to her chest. Heaving a sigh, she looked around to catch someone's eye. 'Perhaps,' she thought, 'they'll strike up a conversation.' She didn't much mind being new. It was the boredom that was eating away at her.

Jamie snuck peaks at Carylie. 'She's adorable,' he thought. "Jamie," Nathan sung. "You lii-iike Caaaary!"
"Naaa-aaathan, you're a diii-iiick! I doo-oo noo-oot!" Jamie sung back, kicking his brother in the shin.
Nathan and Jamie shrugged. "Hey," said Nathan, tapping Carylie hard on the heads. "We're smarter than her," he added with a wide grin.Jamie took Sakura's hand to shake. "Hiya."
