My name is Amy Daws. I'm a book swirler. The first book that got me hooked on reading romance was Asking For Trouble by Elizabeth Young...which is what the movie The Wedding Date with Debra Messing was based on! I soon fell in LUST with London and all things British and so when I started writing, I decided...wth, I'll have my heroine go to England. Now I'm disappointing readers everywhere when they come to my table at a signing and realize I'm not British...or cool. :D But my fake British accent is on POINT!
Oh and I freaking LOVE Gilmore Girls. I named my daughter Lorelei. :)
Stacey is Sassy wrote: "When inhibitions are left at the door because the characters can't help but forget about wobbly bits and 'does size matter'. When he's fascinated by the feel of her skin or she's mesmerized by how ..."^^^You made my wobbly bits tingle with that description!!! :D

My shelves need some serious TLC!!! I have double layers...GASP!!!! THE HORROR!!! I have a lot of tattered paperbacks of British chick lit that I was obsessed with in my early 20s!
My next goal is to make my own books shine more. Get a butt load of inventory and make em really pop on my shelf! i need to re-do my whole office though. I'm just waiting until Sara Ney comes to Sioux Falls and we can go shopping together! ;)

So....we all love romance here, right? What are those parts in a story that get your girlie parts woozing for England? Is it a sexy kiss? Is it the P in the V? Is it sexual tension? Flirting??
For me...it's DRY HUMPING! Why is that so damn hot in a book?!? I feel embarrassed, yet I'm putting it all out there anyways...so...shrugs. ;)
Let's hear what gets your engine revving in a romance novel!??
