23669 Alright, so I have picked three individual songs for you all to get inspiration from. You must pick one out of these three songs to use as inspiration for your entry. Write your heart out and listen to the lyrics, listen to the feel of the song, and everything else about the song to gather inspiration in some shape or form for your story.
Your story's length should be at least 500 words, and a maximum of four chapters long.

These are the three chosen songs.

Fireflies by Owl City: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aI4JLa...
(couldn't help myself with that one^^)

Vanilla Twilight by Owl City: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnX4Z2...
(sorry, but they're both perfect, so pick one.)

Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6tV11...

I love all of these songs, and I picked these to get good hard inspiration from.
So I hope you enjoy picking one and writing in some way or form to blend with the lyrics, the title, or anything about it.
And I thought these songs would be good to fit an October Feeling, not just spooky Halloween and all that. A nice mellow Autumn feeling is good too.

Have fun and be inspired!
Write on, everybody!

23669 Random title, but it popped into my head because I had been listening to that song by the Beatles at the time, soo...yeah...

It's not too much painful, but I wanted a happy ending. :)

23669 ~All You Need is Love~

By: Amelia

~~~
I never knew it would be so hard to avoid getting pregnant.
The day I told my dad, was the day I could have had my funeral...
I slowly walked downstairs and looked at my father, who was preparing dinner.
"Omelet for supper?" I asked, looking at him, inexpressive.
My father shrugged, flipping over the egg-cheese-broccoli mixture. "Why not?" he smiled at me and nodded for me to sit down.
I did, feeling my stomach lurch and gurgle with uncontrollable hunger the minute he set the plate of steaming goodness in front of me. But I took in a breath of the steam and sipped the glass of milk he set down next to my plate and spoke slowly and clearly.
"Dad."
He looked at me with his big dark eyes, smiling pleased.
"I'm pregnant."
The words came spilling out my mouth before he even picked up his fork.
There was silence among us for about five minutes, just staring at each other with our eyes, identical.
As the seconds droned on, I thought. His face was deeply expressionless yet filled with expression all at the same time. Was he mad?
Sad?
Overwhelmed with joy?
I hoped for none of the above.
But what I got, oddly, was a pure mix of the three.
Tears streamed down his face like underwater bubbles trickling to the surface of the water, upside-down. He was smiling though, his eyes glittering from tears and blotching red.
"How long have you been?" he asked, quite loudly.
I shrugged. "Almost a month now."
Dad nodded and shook his head. Then he looked back at me. "Who's the father?"
"Well...my boyfriend. Liam Davidson." I blinked.
Ironically, my father smiled, pleased. "The handsome young man from school? Brown hair, brown eyes?"
I nodded. "Green eyes, actually."
My father's smile faded for a moment then he stood up and looked at me harshly. "I am very disappointed in you, Danica."
I nodded, feeling the pure salty white tears blurrin my vision now.
He sighed and leaned over to give me and nice warm broad hug.
"But at the same time, I am proud of you."
My eyes widened and I looked into his eyes, ours both shimmering with moist salty liquid.
"You're not...mad?"
"Not too much."
I hugged him back, as tight as I could. At first when I found out, I had felt horrible, and closed in and just like a wreck. Everything had been going so well for Liam and me, and then he looked at me that night with those gorgeous green eyes feeling horrible as did I.
"I should have never let this happen, Danica." he had told me, tears rolling down his cheeks, "You're only seventeen."
I had nodded and tried to be brave, but I knew the road ahead of me was going to be tough. Everything around me whirled at a speeding pace so much that I could barely see, and it wasn't just because of the tears.
"Dad?"
My father let go of our hug and looked at me, wiping his eyes. "Mm?"
"Do you think... that if Mom was still alive she would be happy?" I wiped my eyes too, with the back of my sleeve.
He seemed to be thinking for a moment, looking at the ceiling. Then, his lips pulled into a broad smile and he nodded. "Yes, I think she would be very very happy for you, and for Liam as well. No matter what your age."
I took in a breath and let it out slowly. "How do you know?"
He glanced out the window then up at the ceiling one more time, then our eyes met again.
"I just know," he said firmly, smiling the biggest smile I had ever seen.
Then, we hugged again.
