50x66 Yes! I am so pumped for Leah on The Off Beat! I was surprised that she wasn’t in this book more, but am so glad that we get to see more of her character!

50x66 I LOVED this book so much! It's just so damn cute!

Not gonna lie I didn't see Bram as Blue coming! How did you guess it so early on Nicole?! I'm amazed!

I think I got confused early on by thinking that Bram was into Leah, but maybe that was Garrett??? Probably a case of too many characters! I don't know! I genuinely thought up until the clues that Blue was going to be Garrett because it made such a big deal about his eyes being electric blue. But after the clues I thought it was just going to be some random dude we didn't know. I'm so glad it turned out to be Bram though!

I'm also so incredibly happy that Becky didn't finish the book at the reveal of Blue and that we properly got to see Bram and Simon together being all cute and fluffy! Ahhhh I love them so much!

Five stars from me! Though I also kind of wish we'd gotten to see a little more interaction between Simon and his parents!

50x66 I'm loving this book so far! It's such an easy read!

I think I've been quite lucky in avoiding spoilers considering all of the attention the book/movie has been getting. I went into it knowing the bare minimum, I didn't even know about the whole blackmail situation.

I have to admit I googled the movie cast after a chapter or so because of the lack of description regarding appearance. Since doing that so far I've managed to keep most characters straight in my head. (I say that now and another one will end up being a dog)

50x66 Sounds good to me!

50x66 Oh my gosh, Nicole, this blog is amazing!
And She Was by Jessica Verdi sounds good! That's my choice!

50x66 Sorry I'm so late to the party guys!

I haven't read Simon either and I reeeeeeaaaaally want to, so I DEFINITELY agree that that should be one of our books! And I'll have a look-ee loo through some other books and get back to you guys for my choice!

50x66 Oh my god! Wtaf! I can't believe how gruesome this tale was! I thought it was bad at first, but it got worse! When she started to carve up Koja I seriously thought I was gonna vomit! That was more savage than TSIYH even! CHRIST!

I feel like I really should've seen the twist coming, but I didn't! I knew something was gonna go wrong with the plan, but I didn't expect her to start cutting poor Koja up!

So far my list of favouriteness goes:
1) Ayama and the Thorn Wood
2) The Too-Clever Fox

50x66 I really enjoyed this story! Though I did find it a little predictable, I feel that's kind of the style of the story telling!

However, oh my god Ayama's family bugged the hell out of me! I kind of wanted them to get what was coming to them by the end. But oh well!

50x66 Guys I just looked and Rules of Rain isn’t released until January on amazon. Not sure if this is just the uk or everywhere? Have any of you guys got your copy yet???
Dec 05, 2017 03:01AM

50x66 oh yeah I totally agree haha!
Dec 01, 2017 08:56AM

50x66 No that's a good idea, and it will solve the problem of not having books arrive in time!
Dec 01, 2017 06:42AM

50x66 Yeah same, sorry for my absence, my copy of Whichwood literally only turned up yesterday right in time for the last day of November hoorah! And I've only just started reading it!

My nomination is Rules of Rain by Leah Scheier!
I've looked up on both the books you guys suggested and they both look great! My Sister Rosa sounds super creepy too!

50x66 Hey guys I was just wondering who has started reading the book? (My copy hasn't arrived yet :'( sad times). What do you guys think of it so far? Are you enjoying? I've had a look around it and it seems to be getting really good ratings!

50x66 Can Whichwood be read as a standalone or is it a sequel? But I agree it does sound like an excellently diverse read and unlike anything I've looked into before! I didn't even realise Marissa Meyer had a new book coming out! Oh my gosh!

50x66 What about that book we were considering last month? I can’t remember the name of it...
Chapters 16-20 (3 new)

50x66 Are we being serious right now? She cut off a PONYTAIL? I thought she's freaking killed someone. I was hoping she'd killed Kayla or Gabrielle I was so ready for it. I'm just not convinced that cutting off someone's ponytail would make the news. And why the hell would everyone take out their frustrations on Makani? It makes no sense! Why would Gabrielle not be blamed as the captain of the team?
And I'm also very confused at what everyone was so angry over? We they angry over the fact that Makani gave Jasmine an impromptu haircut, or are they mad about Jasmine nearly dying?! Because I'm with you Nicole, Makani had no part in that! I'm so confused!
I was SO looking forward to the reveal of Makani's back sorry, but what the hell is this? I don't understand why Stephanie Perkins has suddenly lost her basic story writing ability!

50x66 I really don't understand the reasoning behind David mutilating and chopping up the bodies or what the different body parts were supposed to mean. I think it was too specific for to have just been "for fun" yet it was never fully explained.
At no point was I particularly blown away by this book but end was especially a let down.
And I completely agree with you Maria, I hated the reasoning behind the killings. It was SUCH a cop out. It would have been better if Stephanie had gone with the whole bullying story line.
