Dear Mykle,

Last fall I decided I wanted to start an advice column, so I asked my friends to write me with their problems. The only thing I got was some Jackson Browne lyrics, so the project never got off the ground.

First, how do I go about suing you for successfully executing on an idea I had while drunk and then didn't do much about, other than hit up my flunky friends for problems?

Second, I suspect that one of the reasons I failed as an advice columnist is that I am a bad person, and some people don't like getting advice from bad people. I like to shame and belittle my friends in public forums (online and off), and I often make inappropriate jokes at their expense. Then I make fun of them for having such thin skin. I thought this would be very entertaining for readers. Anyway, do you have any tips on how I can become less of a dickhead? Failing that, do you have any ideas as to why your flunky friends like you more than my flunky friends like me?
