Oh, they are...darker than the Sookie books, which I also loved..got my daughter into those..

Hamilton makes it edgier..really like them.

Hey there..being a fantasy author myself..I'm always tickled when I find someone I haven't read before. Just started reading Laurell K. Hamilton series about her vampire hunter Anita Blake..really enjoying it. Anyone else read these?
