2510 As far as the poetry goes each constituent part of it has its own reason for being there -- I tend to think around a central concept whilst constructing the book though so that the poems hang together in a more coherent way.

Contact Wounds was written in a month and the impetus for that collection came from the image on the cover of a hand touching someone and wounding them -- an idea sprung from my sense of how powerful touch can be.

Warchalking's short stories are, I think, a perfect introduction to my interests as far as the genre of science fiction goes, with stories that attempt to cover all the bases while maintaining a common thread of the future pushing towards us and from within us.

Proximity Alert is a more aggressive collection of characters and sees the human condition taken to extremes. It may make you uncomfortable but it should make you think.
