Hmmm, nah I might just not do a thread, or anything like that now that I think about it, because I just realised that that it might be a little too much. But I understand fully, I feel like it's a little too soon to have something full on like a memorial page, now that I put some thought into it. Thanks for that. Cleared my mind up a bit.

And you're right, we should definitely alternate with the newsletter thing. It would be much less daunting if we did it together, and worked on picking this group back up. It's in dire need of revamping.

Okay, so no to deleting the group. Cool. Just was thinking about how noone of us mods have been active. But thanks for replying. Do you think its too much though? Sorry I should have run this suggestion through you first, Star, since you knew her better than anyone. Maybe just not have a thread going and just a little In Loving Memory on the homepage instead. Since I realise its way too soon. But yeah. Just was thinking of her last night and wanted to do something to honor her memory somehow. I apologise if I scratched open a new wound by mentioning it. Feel free to just say its a bad idea. Seriously I wont be offended. Oh and do you think we should change some of the threads that aren't really book/vamp related?

Wow. So I was thinking about how this group is an inactive group (and has been for quite some time) that I thought it might be time to consider deleting it, but then I got to reading this thread and a nostalgic feeling settled in the pit of my stomach, when I read some of Vi's comments and it got me thinking that the memories that we all shared seemed too precious to let go of and just thought maybe too soon to delete just yet? I mean this group has three years worth of memories and it felt wrong to just get rid of it. Instead I thought it was about time we revamped it a little. Maybe the Mods can have a little reunion too ( an idea I roughly discussed with Vi a month before her passing). In saying that, its been almost 5 months since she passed away and thought maybe we should do a little memorial thread in here for her since she was one our most valuable MODs as well as a beloved friend to anyone who had the privilege of chatting with her. And I thought it would be nice to remember her by having us get together and say nice things about her in good memory. What do you say guys? I know its a little too soon, but I feel like she spent most of her good days on here chatting on goodreads that it seemed I should at least suggest it and put it out there? Just a thought. And if a memorial thread is a but too sad, maybe just a small recognition or dedication thingee at the top of the group page? I just think Vi was such a huge part of this group that she deserved something nice to honor her memory. WOULD LOVE IF OUR FELLOW MODS STARZEE, MARI, AND JELBEL RESPONDED ASAP. xxTiny

Ohh man, I missed out. Yeah, I think mine was like 10 bucks or less. Free shipping and all, but yeah. I'm such a lazy shopper ever since online shopping was invented. LOL I will get those two definitely, and maybe some of her others if I like this book enough to read more of her work. Bookstores always do that, like the time I bought BDB books, a couple of weeks later, they went on sale for like $5 each or something, and I was like WTH?!?! This always happens to me LOLOL

The Truth about forever by Sarah Dessen arrived in my mail today! Anyone read it? My first time reading this author. :):)

I picked up the Strange Angels series by Lili St. Crow from the library. I'm reading the first one right now.

damn, I can't even remember much about that series to be honest. I think because I read Ink Exchange first, I thought Wicked Lovely would explain heaps about how Leslie and Niall are introduced, and then I find out Aislinn is actually the main character, and then I got confused from there LOL

Oh yeah, I felt the same way with her writing style, and I think I vaguely remember the deal with the winter queen. I think I put down this series a lot when I read them, so I have a hard time remembering it. Nothing really stuck to me, except the character Niall. I think he had this distinct scar across his face is why I remember him. Other than that, yeah this series has completely flown out of my mind. LOL

ahaha! I done the same! I didn't want to look like a greedy chicky at the library with a pile of books in my hands, so I asked my mom if I can put some on her library card and hold the rest, while I act like I only got four books on my own library card. hahaa! Kinda looked weird cause my mum was holding a bunch of vampire books that she would never read to save her life lmfao

Oh and about the Fallen Angel's series, it's a series that I read just to tie me over until I waited for the next BDB book to come out at the time (I think it was Lover Mine I was waiting on then) but I had a hard time getting into them because of that fact (thanks to you of course, you made me obsessed with the BDB series that nothing else would do) LMFAO but it's well written, and kept my attention at least. If I remember correctly, it's about 7 deadly sins, and one guys mission is to save seven souls to kind of renew his own, if you get what I mean. It's a spin off series to BDB aye? At least that's the impression I got when I first read it. It's not addictive, but it's readable. LMFAO.

I wanted to read that series from Lara Adrian, but some reviewers put me off because they constantly compared it to BDB. But I'll probably judge for myself and buy it anyway, just because.

Oohh yeah, I'm trying to knock down my TBR list, but everytime I get a new book, or read one, I add another four to my TBR list, and its evergrowing instead of bloody going down lolol My sisters always say "Another book! You have heaps!" which is so not true, haha

Yeah, I figured if I get all those books you recommended me, I know I won't be disappointed, since I trust your judgement. :):):)

Ooh yes please! I was just checking them online just now, and they're a bit pricey to get all in one go, it'll be awhile until I stock them up, but that would be awesome if you could! Save me a lot of money haha!

I may as well start this one too. I'm forever picking up books in a series, and this would be the good boot up the butt I need to get to reading and finishing them.

I CANT WAIT. I've been dying to get my hands on these books ever since you started telling me about it, so I finally found a good online book site that has reasonable prices, with free delivery. Some UK book site, so yeah. LOLOL Awesome. My new bookshelves need some comfort LMFAO and these are just the books to start with. :))
