Kellie have a great time! Here in New Mexico we are sweltering in the heat. Hope you get some nice AC. Tom.
Diana all of my novels are listed as both kindle and paperbacks, no exception. And I found several by picking kindle on Ammy and typing in the book name. They showed up. The retail page showed both editions like normal. Your scene sounds very weird. Talk to someone at Ammy? Tom
Chkara, Sue and I saw Thor Ragnarok this past weekend. I liked it a lot and Sue liked it moderately. Kind of did not like the 'surprise' appearance of a monster spaceship after the roll of the credits, as if to say 'there is someone more powerful than you'. Overall the partnership between Thor and Loki worked for me. And I liked what happened to Odin. Made a lot of sense. Hella his sister made a very good evil opponent. Tom.
Everyone, got a question about something new that Amazon has done on the retail pages of my scifi novels. In short, my 'comment' that 'thanks' the reader for writing a review has disappeared from the retail pages of my novels Star Glory and Star Threat. If you look at the retail page for Star Threat with five reviews, as of yesterday there is no evidence of any 'comment'. But click on the line at the bottom of the reviews where it says See All Five Customer Reviews and you are taken to a new page where my Thank You comments on four of the five reviews DO Show. I've called Amazon Author Central and asked why. The guy said he did not know and would refer my query to the Community 'team' at Author Central. I am wondering if this is a new bias against authors making any comment on their novel, or a side effect of new software. Has anyone else noticed this comment absence where you replied to someone's review of your novel? Thanks all. Uh the link to my novel is https://www.amazon.com/Star-Threat-Em.... Tom.

As for KU, I don't get a lot of sales but do usually have a good number of pages read..."Lyn many thanks for reading several of my books! Sure appreciate it when another author reads my stuff and likes it. Makes it all worthwhile! Thanks for the info on KU. I do not use it except for one novel. But I hear a few authors who are popular with readers do well. Good luck on your sales! Tom.
Lyn wrote: "Howdy Tom, actually there are a couple box sets and novellas, plus one anthology in my book count, but hey, they are out there. You are the super productive one, my friend. I seem to recall you sa..."
Lyn many thanks. I think doing boxed sets is very creative and something I have not tried. And while I do write four books a year, it can be a bit tiresome even tho I love my characters and highly value my readers, who do show up for each new novel. I am a lucky author. Uh, what is your experience with Kindle Unlimited? Do you get many sales/pages read income? We've discussed this among the Wordsmyth group. Tom.

Hi Kellie, and thank you. I'm glad to be here. I live in Fort Worth, Texas, with my husband and 2 lovable cats. I'm a former fas..."
Lyn super congrats on getting out 15 novels! Wow. That is being very productive. And I happen to like urban fantasy and psychic stories. You began as an Indy about a year before I did in 2011. I do like the control I have but the social media marketing work is the pits! Tom.
Diana yes I will keep everyone informed about our planned trip to Scotland for me and Sue. Sometime in 2018 is all I think I know. Tom.

Diana welcome! Do hope other folks from Writers Corner show up here. The General chatter thread here works okay for sharing news and chatting. Still miss the old Amazon forum threads! Tom.
Will many thanks for the train pricing in Great Britain alert! I will keep that in mind. I usually do trip planning and ticket buying online in advance.Barbara, yes, Sue told me last year that she wanted her first overseas trip (beyond our cruise) to be to Scotland due to her father's family name of Stewart. Of course I ageed. And yes, I too wish to visit Edinburgh! I hear its castle is impressive. Also hope to visit some Scottish museums, etc. Hopefully sometime in 2018 we can go. Will keep everyone posted. Tom.
Will thanks for the travel warnings! I expect us to fly into Scotland and then maybe take the train south to central England and Wales. We'll see what the prices are! Tom.
Trust the Romans to know where the gold is located! Very neat info Will. When Sue and I visit the 'island' I hope we can head south to your area to visit with you and Sam. Our first overseas trip is aimed for visiting Scotland, due to Sue's Stewart family name heritage. Sometime next year I guess. Will keep you posted! Tom.
Will many thanks for the info on the hill fort. Wow. Very neat to have a site going back to the Neolithic near you. And great info on Vespasian's attack and presence in Britain. I enjoy learning ancient history like this. Many thanks! Tom.
Will congrats on the wedding going off so great. Also I envy you climbing and standing on the actual King Arthur hill fort from, maybe, 600 AD based on what I've read. What do you know of the 'age' of the fort you climbed? Tom.
