No, I didn't mean I had your book. I was referring to the Bible. That is God's word. I don't really understand what you are talking about. I go to a Baptist church. I have been convicted of my sins. Being a Christian is a work in progress. He is never finished with us. He convicts me of things all the time. He teaches me lessons everyday. I am human and I am a sinner. All I can do is try to live for God. But still, there will be times when I will fail.

I have my book and read it every day Mickey. But since YOU have all the right answers why don't you enlighten us on what it is YOU think we should all do.

The world is in a battle. It's like two teams, there is GOOD vs. EVIL. The world isn't going to change until Jesus splits the sky and returns to claim HIS children. So all we can do in the mean time is do the best we can do for our team, and play for our side the best we are able. And that includes, interfering if we see someone else in trouble. It includes caring for others, and having self control in our lives. That is.... if you're on the side I'm on.

Jesus said the first commandment was to love the Lord they God with all your heart and everything else would fall into order. I just have to trust that even though the world seems to be going crazy at times, God is still in control.

Some say the world has improved. But I wonder about that. I see so many who's language is worse than the inside of a garbage truck. Many people have no respect for other people. No consideration. And love thy neighbor. Well you can forget that. Most people don't even want to be around others. We seem to have this attitude of let's see who can be the rudest to who the quickest. Schools have become a war zone. Many people are home schooling their kids cause they are afraid to send their kids into the war zone. I think there is a lot to be said for the days when people, including young people, had to work hard just to live, cause they didn't have as much time to get into trouble. Idleness is the devils workshop. I could go on and on but you all know what I mean.
I guess there is no hope that it will get better cause God says it will be this way.
