26962 I wish you luck with your application!
26962 Howdy Roni, thanks for checking in on me. I did Nano this year and am submitting to agents this year (not for the nano, but for the previous novel). My goals this year are to work writing into my schedule on a regular basis.

How are you doing?

26962 Why have you moved so much?

I think it's fine to take breaks when you need to, but I also think the longer you go without writing, the easier it is to never start again. Are you reading a lot? When I can't write due to farm circumstances, (or due to the death of my laptop) I read a ton. This helps keep the brain in the way of writerly things.

I hope the rest of the year is more peaceful for you than this early part has been. Moving 3 times is insaine! wow! I think I would probably just be happy to have survived that and still be breathing.
26962 Actually, yes! This is the first year I've ever tried NaNo. My username is mrs.farmgirl what is yours?

And I'm ALMOST done with my season. I have people and field trips here till Saturday. evening. Then... I"M FREE!!!

26962 Howdy guys! My farm had a little pumpkin decorating contest where the kids are trying to win $25.

Will you guys look at their creations and vote? It takes just a minute.

26962 If you can not find ANY books you like, then that might signify a problem. But if you just don't happen to like the mainstream top ten books, then that's no biggie.

There are plenty of people who don't like the best sellers.

26962 Did you go to Reno or Las Vegas?

I have not read those magazines. Are they good?
26962 thanks Anilynn!

26962 I like it. And I think the quote at the bottom is interesting. Two heads...and yet there are three figures... hmm. makes me think of murder and trouble.

what's it about anyway?
