I have it up this week :P(if you saw it on Weds, I forgot about the scheduled publishing lol I finished it now!)
Heya,No unfortunately I wasn't able to organize myself enough to finish my post for it :( It should be up for next week!
Hmm, good question...I think the whole week is fine. Wednesday is when I put out the prompt, and then whenever it's done you can post in the comments.
Actually, it's only fair to do it that way since I write mine before Wednesday...! :)
That would be fun! :) I'd love to have it go around and people participating every week - it'd be fun to share and compare what we come up with using the same prompt :)
Hey everyone,I just started a new blog, and I figured every Wednesday I'd write a short story from a prompt... then thought it might be interesting to make it a group thing and see what others come up with using the same prompt.
I called it "Writing Prompt Wednesday" lol
Anyway, see here for my blog post with the rules on top!

*Edit*: I decided to call it just Writing Prompt Wednesday... hehe
hahaha I know eh! That's what you'd expect, and it crossed my mind, but that was one of the first things I thought of heh :) I'm a hopeless romantic :)Thanks for the comment! It's the first story I dared publish online ^_^; I was indeed hoping to fool readers a bit with the beginning... :)
I have one in progress, about half way done :) It's a 4-books series. My goal this year will be to finish the first one, at the least!
Beginning January 1st, 2012My goals:
* Write 100-500 words per day, or, a total of 700-3,500 words per week.
(in case I miss a day in the mist of caring for a preschooler and a toddler, both very busy, lol Though I will aim for the daily goal.)
* Write 1 short story or writing prompt story every month.
* Write 1 novel this year.
Books & prompts that I'm planning to use this year to help me:
* The Making of a Story: A Norton Guide to Creative Writing, by Alice Laplante
* Lost the Plot? 500 Writing Prompts and How To Use Them, by Adam Maxwell
* Writing Motherhood, by Lisa Garrigues
