The only Simmons I've actually read is his original novella version of "Carrion Comfort," which I quite liked. I'll have to check some of those others out sooner rather than later.

I haven't actually read any of Dan Simmons' novels yet, due to similar issues of longness, but I've heard good stuff about Drood and The Terror, so they're both on my list.

Hi! I'm Orrin, I'm a regular patron of the library and have been a Goodreads member for a little over a year so I was really happy to see that there was an OPL group on here.

I write short supernatural and ghost stories. I read a lot of comics and also a lot of horror books, as well as fantasy, science fiction, young adult, and anything else that catches my fancy.

I don't hang out on Goodreads as much as I would like to, but I'm looking forward to being a part of the group.
