Van’s comments from the ELI Reading 6 group.

#1: A little brave child that the doctor had to force her to open her mouth and find the disease.

#2: I think the doctor have some similarities with the wife from " button, button" because they all force themselves to do things they want. The wife in " button, button" forced her to push the button. likewise, the doctor forced him use strong physical actions to open the child's mouth.

#3: in my opinion, it is necessary to use strong force to maintain orderly. for example the doctor in the story named use of force,if he did not force the child to open her mouth, he would not cure her sickness.Moreover, it would let bad result for both the child, her parents and the doctor of course.

In this story,the writer imply that force is not always bad. Usually, people think that doctors are good. The writer choose the doctor as a character who force patient for good reason. Therefore, the write emphasize his point of view.

i think everybody might experience a similar unpredictable terrifying situations because it is life and these difficult situations are normal,everybody has to spend at least 1 time in their life. But the point is sometimes they have to force themselves in other to get good results.

#1: because she was careless to realize the fake necklace , a woman has to spent 10 years working hard with her husband try to pay back the money that is used to buy a new real one to return their fiend.

#2:in my opinion, today there are many symbols for wealth and status. for example :diamonds, big house, nice cars,or expensive clothes..

#3: i have many desire in my life and i try my best to get them.whenever i saw other people have things which i like, sometimes jealous because it is what normal people feel.Sometimes feeling jealous is good because it create you more energies and faith to get your goal. there is a proverb: "without faith nothing is possible, with it nothing is impossible" .By the way, if i was in Mathilde's position, i thinks she should choose another ways to impress people such as : taking. of course, her appearance is important but it would be better with a nice dress,she should not borrow the necklace from her friend.As a result, it was lost. No sooner or later, people will know the true that she borrow the necklace from other.Maybe if she tries to work hard and earns money, she will very rich.

if the necklace was lost, i would tell my friend the true and we would be together solve the problems

1 : disagreement between husband and wife made the husband went to the hospital throughout the story about a man who give them "death button"

2: One day, my family received a box which has a button and a letter from a strange man named steward. My brother was so curious and open the box,he read the letter and said that at 8 o'clock, there would be a man come to our house. First, i thought that was a joke. But when the clock showed 8 , there was a man in front of our door and said that he was mr steward. My brother thought he would be a kind of sell man but mr steward said different.He say about the button,if i pushed this button and someboby in the world will die, and i have to pay his company money. Me and my brother though it was a stupid joke so we said good night to mr steward and returned him the box which has the button. Mr button did not accept the fact, he continued refuse the box, we were little bit angry right then and warned him if he did not stop that silly words, we would called the police. mr steward seemed scared right then and took the box out.My brother and me do not believe in some thing like this button and really do not want to concern with these stuff. moreover, we do not want to get trouble if the legend of the button became true. finally, we saw the news the following day that mr steward had to go to the jal because of his private joke
