There's nothing really stopping you from taking naps whenever you want, except for maybe the consequences of doing so. But, if you make yourself detrimentally unconcerned about academics (not recommended), then you'll end up living nocturnally (like me, but please don't be like me).
I'm going to show up here for the first time in a while to say that sleep is not overrated. Please sleep while you still have the time. I average 3 hours of sleep a day, and often times get a lot less, and it's been going on for months. Chronic sleep deprivation isn't fun, at all. You're all presumably young, so you should use this time to save energy up for when your workload gets too large to be able to sleep for over 5 hours. Sleep while you still can, because what will you do when you can't afford to sleep anymore? And also, if you want to ask me about the side effects of chronic sleep deprivation, go ahead, I have a lot of them, but be prepared for them being worse than you think.
As a fellow digital artist, I'll cut into this conversation with my own recommendations. The programs I use are IbisPaint and Photoshop, but I wouldn't really advise you to use Photoshop because Adobe isn't a good investment. The only reason I use Photoshop was because it was somehow already downloaded on my laptop when I got it, and I'm not about to look a gift horse in the mouth. But here's what a painting I made in PS looks like, if anyone's curious:
(view spoiler)
But yeah, I wouldn't recommend Photoshop.
Ibis, on the other hand, is completely free. I have it downloaded on my phone, and it's really easy to use, and has a lot of different brushes and options already given to you. You just have to watch an ad to access most of those, but it's still a pretty good deal.
And here's an extremely cursed WIP of something I'm making in Ibis: (view spoiler)
And here are some programs I've seen people recommend:
-Clip Studio Paint
-Krita
-Procreate
And, also, remember that you don't need fancy equipment to make good art. I literally use my laptop and trackpad for landscapes, and my phone and finger for other art. And you don't really need fancy brushes either.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

What probably happened with them is that they just have prolonged lifespans and can't die of old age or any of the conditions that come with it, but can easily die of external sources. But this then raises the question...can they die from disease? Can they even get sick? Do they heal quickly? What's going on with their immune systems? What even are elves? I think Messenger has a lot of explaining to do...
Yeah I also just look but never really comment. Honestly I don't even know why I stick around this group anymore...
I have a Twitter mutual that thinks that I’m in my twenties, but I’m not that old. Yet. My big secret is that I’m actually a hyper-intelligent, four-dimensional five-year-old.
And now it's time for me to be vague and say that I won't explicitly confirm or deny anything. Have fun, I'll go disappear for another month.
But, honestly, I'm impressed with Messenger's skill to write about nothing for hundreds and hundreds of pages and still have a strong fan base. That's actually admirable.
