You guys just saved me $200!! Weirdly, when I went to turn on the kindle, it was working speedily. I don't have any idea why, but, hey, it's clearly fine now!!

My kindle paper white is on the verge of death after 2-3 years, Short battery life, won't connect to wi-fi, and loads VERY slowly. I am looking at replacement options. I have always used a kindle, and am looking into Oasis (though I still am trying to figure out why I need all of these features) vs other ereader options. Any recommendations?
