American Spy by Lauren Wilkinson

A Long Night in Paris by Dov Alfon. So far it is an excellent book. I am truly excited to get this look at fiction about the Israeli service from a former Intelligence officer of the 8200 unit who has the ability to give a factual look at some of the way things work. Great mystery and thriller.

It has been a long time since I read historical non-fiction and that was mostly the history of different companies which were pretty good actually.

One was "Munich", the other "One Day in September".
Rise and Kill First is great, but it isn't fiction. Not..."Alas, no I am behind in the Gabriel Allon series. I am currently listening to Portrait of a Spy. Did Rise and Kill First read more like a novel or biography?

This is an excellent review! I admit I am one of those Gabriel Allon fans. I also think back to that movie which covered Black September events. I believe it was called Munich. It was an adaptation of those events. I cannot wait to read this book!

I have this on my TBR and I am glad it is as good aa I was thinking it sounded.

It tales me ro the Italian Amazon where it is not free. Did I miss it?

I would love to take a gander at this and review it if you be a little patient with me as I have several to get through for review.

Gray Man kicks major butt! I have read the first 2. He is a machine. I can't wait to see what the movie looks like if they follow through with it.

Has anyone read the Cotton Malone series by Steve Berry?

What is the name of the book?

I would love to read the first book in the Gerard de Villiers series. I thought I had found an English translation but it was in French when it arrived. I wrote to the publisher to see if there would be any translations of the earlier books but did not receive a response.

Wow! Have you written anything or whose work on this do you find to be the most realistic?

I am reading the Ward Larsen series, 2nd one Assassin's Game. Also, about a former Mossad Kidon operative. Love this series.

It looks like that is 4th in the series. Will you be reading the others? Did it feel like you missed anything? I love when authors write series that way so that you can jump in anywhere and not feel lost.

Do they offer MelCat borrowing or something similar where they borrow the book on your behalf from another library? I do that sometimes when I have trouble finding things for my dissertation and my library does not carry it.

I have only checked out an ebook from the library once because the selection was much smaller. I wonder if they take requests.
