"Yeah, same here. Well, I'm not to big on hugging trees, escpecially frozen ones, so let's just head forward. God, I wish someone had a phone. Then I could call, and be like 'Waddup, I've got the map. Wanna end world domination?' or something like that." Luna said, jogging forward, covering a lot of ground in short time, thanks to her long legs.
"The map." Luna explained. "This way." She ducked into another tunnel that widened up into a huge room. "Woah..." Luna starred in awe. The room that was so close that all she had to do was step off the rock and onto the polished floor. A man stood there, holding a ball that was thickly incased in electram, a red and black stone thatseemed to have ...liquid inside it. The man peered up at them, giving a wolfish grin. He had ember eyes, and combed back grey hair. He rubbed the ball against his suit and cleared his throat. "If you want it," He said slowly. "Come and get it." And then he threw the ball, where it floated in midair inches away from them. "It was nice to see you, ILunamiatli."Then he disappeared. Luna reached out, and tpuched the stone. There was a dark flare of light, and then they were all standing in a clearing she knew all to well. The snow was still there. She held the ball close to her, and tunred to the others. "Okay...now what do we do?"
Okay, so she probably shouldn't have touched the glowing orb that was in the water. Luna took a look around, fully expecting indiana jones to swing out and hit her at any given moment. She was in a dark cave, but she knew it was here, could feel it in her bones. The map was so close , all she had to do was find it. So, she started forward in the creepy, dark cave.
"...let's get going here." "What?" Luna asked an turned around. Who'd...? But that had sounded like Tasha, not like any of them. But why..Oh no, she'd gotten herself possessed, hadn't she? Crud. "We need to hurry." She said, and ran for the water. She jumped in, closing her eyes. Whatever had a hold of Tasha, it was strong-really strong. That was so not good.
"Dirt wants to make us dirty and miserable." Luna explained. It looked like the middle of no where, where they were but... "Look straight ahead and concentrate. Really hard." She did, and slowly, buildings appeared, ad well as a bar and a beach. Luna headed for the beach. "I hope you all know how to swim, because to find the map, we're going to have to venture into the deep blue."
"Well then...let's go." Luna jumped through the portal, free falling. The wind beat against her, her jacket flapping back. Then she landed. She rolled to her feet, brushing dust off of herself. Hello, Dallas. "Come on down!" She called up to the sky, cupping her hands around her mouth. "The dust is perfect!"
Luna nodded and squeezed Midnight's hand. She looked over at everyone else. "You coming?" "Yeah," The redhead said stepping forward with whom Luna assumed was her boyfriend. She looked over at the servant. "And you?"
Bloodblader wrote: ""midnight can, make portal of flame" midnight said""Do you think she can? Will it block her?" Luna asked the servant. She knew she couldn't really use her powers. They were there, but she kept losing her grasp on them. It was like they were butter or something. Instead, it was the redhead who answered. Cassie. "Yes. She can." She said in a small voice, her emrald colored eyes meeting Luna. "Okay. Thanks." She didn't know why she'd thought of the girl as a threat. She looked compleatly harmless, incapable of hurting an ant. Luna still played cautiously, though. "Go ahead." She told Midnight.
"Thanks sweetie." Luna ran her fingers lightly over the thin paper, tracing the lines. The £lescrol was where the trail started. Then it was to the shard, with its wavy lines and then... "The map is buried in Texas. Dallas, Texas."
Luna nodded. She snatched the spell book from inside her jacket, and sat down cross legged to read it. "Can you light up for me?" She asked. It was a term they used explaining how Midnight could make fire appear anywhere.
"Yeah, that's what everyone's looking for and why I'm here." Luna said. "It's very important and we need to get it as soon as possible."
Luna extended the dull end to her she she wouldn't cut herself. She looked at the lines on the shard, then thought about the lines in her spell book, and then the ones in the ballroom...she gasped and dropped the shard with a clink. "I know where the map is." She whispered.
Luna nodded. "Okay, then." She dug in her boot but finally pulled out a shard of red glass, swirling lines through it pulsing with light. "Have you ever seen one of these? It's a Romaus shard." She said, holding the object flat in her palm.
Luna bit her lip and looked around but finally forced herself to ask the question. "How loyal are you to the master?"
