31308 Sounds good. :)

Yes its my first time exploring and taking groups seriously on here, and I'm finding it to be glitchy. Hopefully we'll be able to figure something out

31308 It's going to take me some time to build a bodice ripper swap shelf, but once I get to it, I'm thinking I'll join in and do a swap. It sounds like fun. :)

Hi Meredith, I'm on my laptop. I got through step 4 with no issues. But After clicking on "edit group discussion updates", it lead me to a page that reads "Topics I'm following in a Group", and underneath it, there's only one row, and that row says "all topics within group". It doesn't give me any choice for which threads I want to follow, so I think my account might be experiencing a technical issue. If you could upload screenshots that would be great. I'll try to send over a screenshot of the area Im stuck on through private messaging, if it lets me. And thanks for refreshing me on how to bold my letters, that will help me with discussions, so appreciate it :)

31308 Can anyone tell me please how to bold my letters within a post. And can anyone tell me how to change my notifications, so that I only receive them for the topics I commented on in a group?

Hi Lauren, thanks for the welcome :)
Where is the list located? and how do I get to it

31308 Savage Surrender is really good. I'm currently reading it myself. I'm 50% of the way in. Does anyone want to do a group read with me?
And where would I go to start a group read? I'm a bit new at this.

31308 Hello,

Nice to meet you all :)
I'm fond of bodice rippers, because I feel like they have this unique escapism to them that you cant find in other books. It's a heady combination of passion and drama that really appeals to me. In answer to your questions:

My birthday is June 6th, 1992
What did you have for dinner last night?:
A nice simple bowl of slowcooked indian lentils

What CD/radio station(type of music) is in your car right now?:
Its actually Spotify for me, and I have mostly dance and pop songs. Songs like Adore You by Harry Styles, and Oxytocin by Billie Eillish

Favorite childhood memory (briefly):
Christmas time at Elementary school. It would be always be festive, and make Christmas always feel special as it should.

When/where do you most like to read?:
We moved back to our old house, so here in this house, I like to read on the couch in the main living room. Especially when the sunlight is out.

First romance novel read (that you can remember):
I can't remember the first romance novel I read. But I do remember that the romantic aspect of a story always caught my interest, even as a kid. I would always be rooting for the main couple to get married. So as a kid, it would be disney movies/stories, like the little mermaid, where I felt like Ariel and Eric, needed to be together because it made sense to me. As far as my first romance novel that left a huge impression on me, it would probably be Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell, which some people would consider to be a bodice ripper, if I remember correctly.

Favorite romance couple:
Probably a tie betwee Rhett Butler and Scarlet O Hara (from Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell), and Achilles and Patroclus from the Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller.

Why did you decide to join this group?:
I'm currently reading Savage Surrender by Natasha Peters, which is excellent for the most part. It occurred to me, that why don't I just a bodice ripper group. I wanted to be a part of a group that has a passion for bodice rippers like me, so I felt like this group would be a good fit for me. I've probably missed out on a lot of excellent reads, so I'm hoping we could do some rereads. I'm also looking to make friends, and be friends with other bodice ripper readers.
