31308 My first love is always romance but I try and mix up the sub-genres... I love historical, rom/suspense, paranormal. But I also like to have a 'break' and I will read a UF or YA or children's book. I have read other genres, I went through times of only ready spy-thrillers for eg. I read every Ludlum and Forbes book I could get my hands on. Then I went through the medical and legal thrillers - read Deaver, Grisham, and Cook. But I ALWAYS end up coming back to romance and have not strayed away in quite some time and have no plans to in future :) Although I do often just pick up a thriller cos of the awesome premise...but it has to be very very good for me to take away from my precious reading time. Just love my romances.

31308 What is your favorite band/singer and genre of music?
Country, Rock, Blues - Love...Randy Travis, Trace Atkins, Travis Tritt, Dixie Chicks, Lady Antebellum, Trisha Yearwood, Josh Turner, Rascal Flatts... But I also love Bonnie Raitt, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC (in the right mood), Joe Cocker, John Lee Hooker and heaps of others

Besides historical romances, what are your favorite genres?
Have to say my absolute favourite romance sub-genre is romantic suspense (if I HAD to pick one). I've also just joined the PNR train as well.

What are some of your favorite television shows and what's your favorite genre?
Not an avid tv watcher but my favourite programmes at the moment are... The closer, Dancing on ice, Grey's anatomy, Private practise.

What are your favorite films?
Again not much into films, but I will go and watch anything with Sandra Bullock in it. Loved Avatar, LOTR trilogy, Transformers 1, Iron man 1.

The most of important question of all... Coke or Pepsi
Used to drink diet coke all the time - since found that it was the cause of my violent headaches. Now if I have to drink fizzy it will be Coke or L&P. Cannot stand Pepsi.

31308 My daughter drives me nuts cos she never uses anything to mark her place, she simply remembers the page number just like Amanda. So you are not alone Amanda LOL

I used to leave my book open upside down (sorry!) until I started working as a librarian and then got to see the damage it does! So now I use bookmarks. I only read one at a time and I have lots of different bookmarks but the funny thing is whenever I need one I can't find them!

My favourite at the moment is a 3D purple n black dancing skeleton one. It is so cool, when you move it around the skeletons dance...

31308 Hey gals, I'm Wendy and I love romance, but have fallen by the wayside of bodice rippers, so thought I would join the fun to get myself back in the genre.

Birthday: Valentine's day, 1965

What did you have for dinner last night?: Lovely fresh snapper fillet (yum!)

What CD/radio station(type of music) is in your car right now?: I have my MP3 player on mix playing thru my car stereo, but currently its Sugarland

Favorite childhood memory (briefly): Getting breakfast in bed while reading at my grandparents house

When/where do you most like to read?: Anywhere, but mostly in bed

First romance novel read (that you can remember): Can't remember exact title but it was something by Patricia Hagan

Favorite romance couple: Eve & Rourke with Cat & Bones coming in second

Why did you decide to join this group?: Thought it would make me read at least one bodice ripper a month. Thanks for the invite
