Hey, Kelly... again, good luck with your first novel. It's such a wild and fun experience.

My first novel, GHOST ROAD BLUES (Pinnacle, 2006), was actually my 15th book published...but the previous ones were all nonfiction, ranging from college textbooks (on women's safety awareness, judo, martial arts history) to mass market books on the folklore of vampires. And even though I still do one nonfic a year, I've become a confirmed 'novelist'. It's a great feeling.

And the book signings are more fun with fiction.
