Alright, looks like Team Dumbledore needs more backup since apparently they've forgotten the books. d=First of all, I'm tired of people saying "Edward can hear Harry coming so he could block the spells."
Let's just get this straight. FIRSTLY, even if Edward COULD hear Harry coming, that doesn't mean he can stop him. SECOND, you CAN'T BLOCK SPELLS WITHOUT A WAND. Or Magic. Which, if I remember correctly, Edward doesn't HAVE.
Edward can DODGE them, but he cannot BLOCK them.
Also, just because Edward can HEAR the spells Harry is thinking, doesn't mean he knows WHAT they mean. He's not a wizard, how is he supposed to know what "Incendio" means? Sure, let's see him try and block fire, let me know how that turns out for him. >>
Edwards only got "speed" and "mindreading" on his side. Harry has an invisibility cloak, a broom, a wand and (if we're talking post-war Harry instead of still in school Harry) I'm sure by now he can apparate, so that's speed. Harry has spells that can rip Edward apart, burn him, hang him upside down to stop him from coming toward him, control him, I think Harry has a fair chance against Captain Sparkles.
As far as Dumbledore vs. Edward?
Andy, you're an idiot.
You Twilighters have GOT to be joking if you think Edward can beat Dumbledore. He's got NO chance. You hear me? NO. CHANCE.
Edward can read minds? Dumbledore can BLOCK his mind. ( He's an Accomplished occlumens)
DUMBLEDORE can read minds (He's an accomplished Legilimens which means mindreader), Edward CAN'T block his mind.
Edward has speed? Dumbledore has apparation. And before anyone gets into "but apparation is loud!" Dumbledore is able to apparate SILENTLY which only skilled apparators can do.
Dumbledore can perform WANDLESS and WORDLESS magic which Edward wouldn't hear, nor see coming. Dumbledore is NOT useless without his wand. He is said to perform EXTRAORDINARY feats of magic WITHOUT his wand. He foiled defenses set up by Voldemort WITHOUT his wand, He performed Arresto Momentum to prevent Harry from falling to his death WITHOUT his wand, for little magic he could wave his hand to put out lights, and likely a whole lot more.
Dumbledore is a MASTER DUELIST. In the books, he was able to capture four to five deatheaters AT ONCE and duelling Voldemort to a stalemate. He even defeated Grindewald who HAD the elder wand at the time.
Dumbledore is noted as one of the most powerful wizards in the world if not the MOST powerful.
Edward is NOT considered the most powerful vampire since Volturi member Jane (a 12 year old technically) can take him down.
Dumbledore can make himself invisible WITHOUT a cloak. Edward can't hear or see him, what the hell does he have now?
Dumbledore being old has NOTHING to do with this conversation. Besides, an old wizard doesn't mean JACK.
Dumbledore LOOKS frail but he is NOT. When he's mad, Harry has noted his frail look leaves and instead theirs fire in the mans gentle eyes, something powerful emanating from him. In other words the 'old' man looks very formidable.
FROM THE BOOKS:
His eyes were described to be a brilliant, soul-piercing shade of blue, and usually twinkled with kindness and mischief.
When he became genuinely angry, however, Dumbledore would transform from a benign-looking, bright-eyed old man into a wizard even more terrifying than Lord Voldemort himself, with a face that was a classic portrait of cold fury and an aura of power that made him seem as if he was giving off burning heat.
Indeed, Harry had - after witnessing a rare moment of Dumbledore's furious age - confessed to fully understanding why people always said that Dumbledore was the only wizard Voldemort had ever feared.
------------
He is a creator of spells, and guess what? Dumbledores weapon of choice is FIRE.
Guess what Edwards weakness is?
Dumbledore, hands down.
