A new novel, so far called The True, the Good, the Beautiful. A story about a Palestinian boy, adopted by an American nurse, and his journey across half the world to find his biological mum. Writing all kinds of others, as my friend Vanessa Gebbie would say, characters that have nothing in common with me (in terms of nationality, political persuasion, you name it), except of course love of life.
