Katie’s comments from the Nerdfighters group.

1) What are you reading now? How do you like it so far?
The Night Angel trilogy by Brent Weeks. They're good books so far, but I think I need a break from action-packed fantasy. I'm getting tired of assassinations, haha.

2) Books you've recently read and given 4 stars?
Son of the Shadows by Juliet Marillier. Her writing is gorgeous and she weaves some brooding romances, but I preferred the first book in the series, Daughter of the Forest.

3) Books you've recently read and given 5 stars?
Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson. Heartpoundingly intense and entertaining with some interesting philosophical and theological tones.

4) Books you've recently read and given a bajillion stars?
I think reading a book warranting that number of stars would give me a heart attack of awesome. Mistborn would come closest out of my recent reads.

5) What books are you reading next? Why?
Goliath by Scott Westerfeld (once I'm at the top of the waiting list at the library) because I need to finish off that series. And Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer because I'm a vegetarian for no real reason and am trying to figure out whether I should stay that way.
