((Sorry! I've been very inactive.))Jase laughed at the girl. He was a little disappointed that she didn't go to the Academy but figured that it didn't make much of a difference since she was there anyway. He could see her staring out of the corner of his eye. He turned, and their gazes met. He turned away, grinning.
"So, Athena. What does it take for a girl like you to go on a date with a guy like me?" he asked, turning and looking into her eyes. He could feel the grin still on his face.
Jase laughed. She was cute. "What pretty girl? I don't know about you, but I'm looking at her."
He was intrigued by her. Despite how he had been in the past, he thought that there could be something different about this one.
"So, you go to the academy, right?" he asked.
Jase chuckled, shaking his head. “No, not like Jason, but I’ll go with that. What am I supposed to do when a pretty girl gives me another name?”
He noticed that she still lightly held on to his hand, and he found it cute. He liked this girl the more he talked to her. He could get a feel of her, and he already knew that she would be one he could have a little fun with.
Jase chuckled, thinking that she was cute. He shook her hand firmly, looking her in the eye. "I'm Jase," he said, "Very nice to meet you, Athena. Hm, Athena? Like the goddess right?" He winked at her.
Jase headed to the pool. He threw his bag down on one of the chairs and dove into the pool. The cool water was refreshing against the heat of the day. He looked around, noticing no one else around. Then, she spotted the girl in the water. The red tint of her hair caught the sun and stood out."Hey!" he called out at her. She was on the opposite end of the pool, but he waved anyway.
Jase came up and saw Bliss."Oh, Bliss... Hello. Look about that. Please let me explain!" he almost begged her.
Essence wrote: "Bliss raised an eyebrow. "Was that a pickup line or do you truly mean that?" she asked suspiciously."Jase laughed.
"I don't know, babe. You tell me," he said with a devious grin. He did mean it though. She was truly breathtakingly beautiful.
Jase laughed."That sounds like I'm lying, but yes. We just met today. So, technically, it wasn't really a date-date. But as for you, I don't know...Maybe it's just because you're so beautiful," he said with a shy smile.
Essence wrote: "Bliss was about to scream at him for asking her out while he was still on a date with Morgan, but something made her stop. Was it the way he embraced her? She gave a half smile. "Hi." she managed t...""Hi," he said back. He hugged her and then backed away. Jase tried to give her a smile, but he was a little nervous about what she'd think.
"Look, I know you're probably mad about Morgan, but it's not what you think. It wasn't really a date anyway," he tried to explain.
Jase turned away from Morgan and walked away. Later, he turned back and spotted Bliss."Bliss!" he called out as he headed towards her with a smile. He was done with Morgan, but maybe Bliss was something else. She was something that he would have to be gentle with because Jase was starting to feel his feelings for Bliss blossom. And it was different than what it had been with Morgan. He had just been messing around with her.
Jase came in and was going to their table was Morgan was. Then, he saw her at another boy's table. He walked straight over to her, his nostrils flaring. "What are you doing? You know what? This is it. I'm leaving and not coming back," he said, storming outside. He could wait for Bliss outside. He was beginning to think that talking to Bliss had been a good idea.
Jase was confused. He didn't know what to do. They didn't agree on a meeting place yet. He couldn't think of anywhere to meet."Meet you at the pizzeria!" he yelled after her and then remembered Morgan. He face palmed himself. He was such an idiot. What was he going to do now? He decided to head back to the pizzeria and try to get rid of Morgan before Bliss came.
Jase nodded."Alright, would you like to go get changed first or anything? I can meet up with you later. Where do you want to go?" he asked with a warm smile.
Jase smiled."Thanks..." he muttered. "Listen, I was wondering if maybe you'd like to go out for something to eat right now?"
Jase chuckled."Bliss," he said, tasting the sound of the word. "That's a beautiful name." Jase said with a seductive smile. With horror, he realized what he was doing.
"No," he thought to himself in his head, "not her, not this one." He dropped the smile and stared at the ground, looking for an escape.
Jase smiled."Thanks..." he said, standing there and astounded. He wasn't sure what else to say, but he knew what he wanted to say. He walked back over to her.
"Sorry to interrupt, but I'm Jase, by the way."
((lol. yes, i can see that. it's working now.))Jase felt relief rush into him. He sighed.
"Yes! Thank you so much. You don't know how much this means to me," he said.
"Oh, yes. I was wondering if maybe you've seen a bracelet around her perhaps? I just lost it a while ago," Jase explained. He desperately needed to find that bracelet. It had been given to him by Annabelle before she died in that car wreck years ago, and he never parted with it. It must have flown off his wrist when he was playing with Morgan.
Jase snapped out of it."Oh, sorry!" he said in his British accent. "So sorry...I-I...just thought you were someone else for a moment there," he explained. But it was true. She did look like someone else. She looked like her, Annabelle, the only girl he had ever loved...
