Ireland??? Wow, I would love to go to Ireland:) I'm not sure about the lend me only being available in the US but I'll check. You can also connect with some of us on the Barns n Nobel web site via my BNB. I'll send you a friend request. I think you can do the lend me thing on the website.
Hey Sarah,So glad your with us:) I also love all the books you mentioned so go take a look at my lend me library and borrow away! Make sure you send me your e-mail address so I can add you to the group list. Also make sure your lend me is set up. You may need to go to your settings and check "yes" to allow others to see your lendable books. Let me know if you have any questions.

Maybe it wasn't called a Halo? It is the hand held map thing that lights up the pods. I'll have to look up the name and let you know. I thought it was Halo?
Oh, I think Mokingjay has much more descriptive violence. The other two did have violence but this one soooooo much more detail in the gruesome events. Example: When Kat has to go and look for the Halo. I don't want to put up spoilers so think about what she had to wade through to find it. Yuck! The only thing close I can compare that to is the Cato and the mutts scene.
Don't worry Mackenzie you will get your chance and once you do be prepared for some gruesome violent reading:-)
Oh, my kids hate me right now! I'm such a mean mom;-) Two of three are grounded. But don't worry I'm sure my third one will jump on the band wagon soon. I tried to start reading another book last night but I couldn't. My mind is still so wrapped up in Mokingjay.
I finished this morning also. I'm still thinking about it but I have a really long review posted. What did you think? All I'm gonna say (no spoilers) is that one I would not let my young teens read this it's way to vividly gruesome and I cried! I never cry! I came really close when Rue died but lost it in this book. Now if a book has that kind of power over someone I personally think it is a damn good book. What did you think?
Last night is the first night in I don't know how long that I went to bed without reading. Didn't want to start another book knowing Mokingjay was being released tomorrow.
I can't wait! I'm so glad the kids go back to school tomorrow. I'm gonna go to the bookstore at 10am and start the book at home with no kids around!!
All I'm gonna say is I hated the ending. Since this is the last book of this series I was totally left with a feeling of "thats it" "what happens now". I know there is a spin off that will bring some of the characters into that book but I thought it should have wrapped up much cleaner.
Has anyone read the Vampire Diaries? I'm wondering if it is worth the read or should I stick to the TV show?
Now reading "White is for Magic". I liked "Blue is For Nightmares" so we will see how this one goes.
Ok, so I have to admit I love True Blood. I only read the first book in the series and decided to just watch it instead. I am team the new hot wolf guy that has been looking out for Sookie per Eric's orders. I would take him home! As for Bill I think they made a really bad choice in the guy who plays him. Don't think he is good looking at all. There for I want her with Eric. Excited to see the rest of the season.
Well if they are rioting and killing vamps they are taking a much bigger risk than running away. I guess you would have to pick your poison. lol
Ok, so I'm at the point in the book where the borders around the city are down, the vamps are no where to be seen and the humans are rallying. I don't know about you but I think this is the perfect time to load up the entire family and take off to another country?
Yep, I've had those days before. Problem is there are so many I swear it's gonna take me years to get to them all. Did you put them on your to read list?
OH I love Bianca and Zoey!! Perfect for the little black and white girls. See I forgot about them. I also love Celia, I have not read the Chiagoland Vampires yet but they are on my list. I can't believe I did not think of Myrnin and I'm reading the book right now? I think I'll name my crazy little orange and white little boy that! I don't have to take them to they vet (unless they get really sick during their 8wks with me) they will probably get new names when they are adopted:-( Knew I could count on you!
Ok, so I thought my friends in this group would be the perfect people to get help naming my new foster kittens?? See they are just getting teeth and have drawn blood a few times when I am feeding them. So I have decided to give them all names from my vampire books. However, I have drawn a blank! There are 7 kittens 2 long hair black and white girls, two orange and white boys, two calico (blk, wht and orange) girls and one silver grey girl. I think Sabina (from Redheaded stepchild)for the mean yet loving calico. Besides that I'm stumped:-(
