Thank you for your response. I haven't read "Just Mercy" but it sounds like we need to add this one to the list too.

For me, I'd have to say my own book. The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander, Black Privilege by Charlamagne Tha God, I Can't Make This Up by Kevin Hart, Writing My Wrongs by Shaka Senghor, A Stone Of Hope by Jim St. Germain and The Keys by DJ Khaled were all close seconds. Reading each of those books pointed me back to my own book. I realized that every story is geared for us to reflect on our own. I am fortunate to have penned my story but I have a long way to go. That's why, I would bring my book with me, so that I can continue what I started. Continue on the path to finding the truth. My truth. We all are on a path to find our own truth and the books I read in 2017, have helped me get closer to that truth. At least I pray that is the case. I'm interested in your answers and I look forward to reading your responses. Please forgive me for picking my book, I am not a homer. Well I kind of am, because I love everything LA except the fog. Please forgive me. Peace.
