38566 Looks good. Is it only available as an ebook then?

38566 Oh that's pretty soon! Do you do things like book signings?

38566 Nope. I recently (about three months ago) got an ipad which has the iBooks and kindle app, I use it every day but I haven't read a book on it yet. Only use these apps for reading journal articles for my studies which I wouldn't be able to get a paper copy of anyway. I just find reading a physical book more satisfying. I am starting War and Peace on here but reading that and holding a thin thing rather than the giant book we know it to be feels strange.

38566 I never really watch video trailers. Is it just a vid posted on YouTube?

38566 That's awful! Best not tell then...

38566 What magazine?
Nov 23, 2013 02:37PM

38566 Oh right, will change the publication date on goodreads book as I put 2013.
Can I ask when did you start writing short stories and what made you want to publish?

Looks good, and different from your usual. :)

38566 I expect so, and no doubt we will have many new inventions like today's 'lol' and things like that. Maybe it will take a drastic u turn and we will all speak the queen's English (hopefully right use of apostrophe).

38566 Steve wrote: ""Regular." Now there is another word. Now in every day UK English usage it means "small.""

Really? That's just strange. I'm sure lots of older people now think we talk weird but it's just influences from media, and other countries.

38566 How I live now is one of my favourite books. It is so sad though so I don't think I'll be watching the film (don't like sad films) but it is just heartbreaking especially the end. I like all of Meg Rosoff's books that I've read, she's a really good author. It's the actress from lovely bones in it too, and she's pretty good.

38566 Oh he's I remember you saying something like that before. It will be different from your usual!
Nov 09, 2013 01:40PM

38566 I haven't noticed that particularly but I am dismayed at the general lack of an punctuation used correctly even in places where you would expect them to be correct. I know what you mean about the plural though I don't think many people know what it's for. Who to blame? Education system?

38566 Thanks Steve, I do look forward to reading all your new writings. Your last one was great, is this even better?
Nov 09, 2013 11:12AM

38566 I guess it does. I'm sure at some point we will adopt their spellings as we adopt most of everything else they do. It certainly saves some ink from shortening some words.

38566 The titles of all those books are brill too.
Nov 09, 2013 11:00AM

38566 Here are some covers I love for your inspiration:

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak How I Live Now by Meg Rosoff The Diamond of Drury Lane (Cat Royal, #1) by Julia Golding Frankenstein (Penguin Classics) by Mary Shelley The Thief (The Queen's Thief, #1) by Megan Whalen Turner The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold The Republic of Trees by Sam Taylor Blood Red Horse (The de Granville Trilogy, #1) by K.M. Grant The Brief History Of The Dead by Kevin Brockmeier Uglies (Uglies, #1) by Scott Westerfeld The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle The Rainbow Singer by Simon Kerr Blood Red, Snow White by Marcus Sedgwick The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne The Salt Road by Jane Johnson

(This doesn't necessarily mean I like the book, though in many cases I did)

38566 Exciting! Out in time for Christmas?
Jul 25, 2013 08:37AM

38566 I think we all do often judge books by their cover and it is very important to get a good one. You'll have to think of something good. If you need any help let me know :)
Plus if it's going to be out just before christmas people are more likely to pick pretty of interesting looking books as gifts.
